Oops. Sorry. Thought Nermal was you! Probably good your cat's NOT Garfield then, because he wouldn't like you and he'd keep trying to mail you to Abu Dhabi.
I'm Roger, but I didn't join in time to use that as username. I looked at the fuzzy thing bumping my mouse hand and just had this sudden inspiration.

I though Nermal was a donkey or jackass or something burro, based on the avatar D'OH

No, that's Eeyore. Used to hang with the Winnie the Pooh crowd. He's my spirit animal cuz we share the same cheerful disposition and optimistic outlook on life.

Hobbs! Sup? Hey, I hope you don't mind but I've been using your, "This mine" phrase with Steel. He doesn't really appreciate it. Jackie laughs at us when she's around and I do it. Usually, he gets a bite when I am done if he's good. But, if it's something he shouldn't have and it's a quick snack, "This mine." He lays down and lets out a big sigh. Lol Yesterday, though, I couldn't help it and had to give in (well, not really). I was in the kitchen and tried really, really hard to remove the wrapper off a ice cream sandwich without him hearing it. Nope. He was looking at me and I said, "No, no, this mine" as I tapped my chest with my free hand. I then turned my back to him facing the sink. The sink is next to the back door. So, he sits in front of the door looking at me. I tapped my chest again and said, "No, no, this mine." He immediately laid down with a big sigh so we couldn't see each other's face while I finished it and had to give him the last small tiny bite. You see, when I am eating a meal, I taught him not to beg. That means if he wants a treat, when I am finished, he doesn't beg. He will come in the room and lay down with his back to me so he's not looking at me when I eat. LOL SO, with the ice cream sandwich, he tried really hard to be good so I gave in while no one was looking.

Garfield's existence is like, proof that you can be smart enough to read.... But not smart enough to not read Garfield.

Some dude removed Garfield from all the strips. It was pretty great, the owner wound up looking like he had a very philosophical type of schizophrenia.

It was a little cooler today, only about 90 degrees, so I went for a 19 mile ride at a leisurely pace just enjoying the quiet and the river views. After dinner I put the lights on my bike and went for another 11 mile ride around the neighborhood, as I was riding into dusk and then darkness. It is so much cooler without the sun beating down, but then you have to deal with the bugs which seem to be attracted into the beam of light...then your eyes...got to remember to put on glasses for the eye protection from them pesky bugs
Earlier today I watched a deer munching away on some plants in a soybean field...i could not help thinking that that deer didn't have too long to live if it kept destroying that farmers crops...probably will be seeing the buzzards circling next time I pass that way again.
