That's an AMAZING amount of emoticals, E. Where have I seen something like that before.....

And a very Happy B-Day to Mr. Steel!!!!

Man, that Ti is "FLUFFY"! Is it a Provi, or a can of soda?

I also miss the Battle ship games that DD used to do,
some of the most fun times I have ever had on ECF. :|

Here's the one I posted, and the others are probably close to it. Poor little guy looks miserable, and the cone looks really long, so you may have to come up with a way to raise his food and water up and inside the cone.
Thanks! That's one of the ones I remember now. I've been trying to hold a small dish of water up to his face. Nope. Maybe later. Maybe when Jackie gets home. Thank God she has tomorrow off and only is working 5 hours now.

Worst birthday ever! :(
Well, I'm going to take a page out of @Hobbs book. As soon as I sign off, I'm ordering Steel a 3 antler special for his birthday/recovery.

Hello everyone. I usually vape REOS mods, but I have a couple of ProVari hanging around (P2, P3). I like using my P3/ Achilles combo for testing new DIY flavors. But I think I messed up my P3.
Removing the Achilles, I accidentally removed the top of the P3. Not just top collar either. I was standing there looking down at the firing pin, thinking 'WTF.....?"
Cleaned and reassembled, but the P3 won't fire with the Achilles (OP). It will fire with a Siren 2.
The Achilles works jut fine on my P2, so it still works, but the two won't fire together...

The day is not a total loss, as I did find a delicious chocolate cookie recipe. But I would rather use the P3 for testing new flavors....
Any suggestions ?

Hey Papaw. Can you pop a pic for us? If you just removed the screw and ring, you should be able to screw them back on. Can you see the little red o-ring, or did the entire top assembly come off?

If the latter, you'd be looking down into the guts.

I could see the little red o-ring around the firing pin.

@coldgin96 ... that cone does look a little large for him ... well, larger than necessary anyway.

Feed him by hand. The cones I've used on both my dogs, I fitted just loose enough I could slip it on and off over their heads in an instant. I slipped the cones off at feeding times when I was standing right there. Before that, I fed them by hand at meal times. They eat kibble, so it was easy to hand feed. They also learned to eat with the cone on and there was little issue, although there was a learning curve for them.

Usually they drink water right after or soon after they eat, but they learned to drink from their big dog dish of water on the kitchen floor. Again, there was a learning curve.

It'll all soon be over in a couple of weeks and he'll be all back to normal just like nothing happened.

Just like that ....

Okay. The screw only works one way, so make sure that's correct (by firing something). Sounds like you're past that but I thought you should know.

Then make sure both the screw and ring are tightened down all the way. Sometimes they're "off". They should be flush/flat.

If it's still not firing after all that, any chance the Achilles has an adjustable pin? It should be fine if another is working, but occasionally something won't fire on the P3 tops. I end up moving those to another mod, sometimes just a bevel topped Provi.

Not a big fan of that P3 connector, me. It was nice at first, but seems to be more problematic than useful (for me).

I think I see my problem. Thanks, Dave.
The two rings came out as one. So I removed and separated them, they are soaking in 91% Iso for a few minutes before I clean and reassemble....

My pleasure, Brett! Let us know...

They tied it to his collar. Vet said if they didn't, he would get it off and we wouldn't get it back on. :nah:
It should over next Saturday, we'll see.
Just ordered that 3 antler special.

Use a penny or a dime on the center ring to get it good and tight, also, if the firing pin got pushed in you can use a small screwdriver and gently massage the red o-ring under the pin a little, the pin can move up and down a bit and the o-ring is supposed to cushion it. Good luck getting it to fire with your attie again.

P.S. if you want a couple of replacement o-rings...PM me.
