I know I would have liked to have had a few of those, but I bought the serenity gear leather sleeves, to protect mine. :|

Here ya go @kas122461 ... I think I hunted down the correct materials list from my old bookmarks. You can make you own for just a few shekels.

1. Carbon Fiber Checked Tube Part# 5287T21 @ $34.91 for 1 foot
... McMaster-Carr <--- Part# 5287T21
... McMaster-Carr <--- all tubing

2. Push in Plug Part# 9283K14 @ $12.80 for pkg of 100
... McMaster-Carr <--- Plug Part# 9283K14
... McMaster-Carr <--- All Plugs
(note: the top section of the plug was cut off before assembly)

3. Velvet Adhesive Backed Part# 88015K2 @ $9.83
... McMaster-Carr <--- Velvet

4. Loctite Clear Epoxy Part# 1813A225 @ $15.98 per tube
... McMaster-Carr Part# 1813A225
... McMaster-Carr <--- All Loctite Epoxy

So for a mere $73.92 plus some spare time you can make your own. (he, he you could save some money per unit by buying more than a foot of tubing (price goes down a bit per foot) and using a cheaper epoxy)

But you will have 99 plugs left over for other projects.

No wonder these tubes were so 'not inexpensive' back then.

Oh wait, actually that 1 foot of tubing is enough for 2 sleeves, so the per sleeve cost comes down to $36.96 plus shipping.

Yeah well, anything to entice / enable someone to spend money on vaping is well worth the time and effort. :vapor: Particularly Kas, as it was his pictures and praise of the Dani Mini's that enticed me and my wife to buy not 1 but 4 of them in the last month.
