Hello everyone! So, I had always wanted a Provari after I learned about them, but then put off buying one (due to expense) I never imagined they would close their doors honestly, figured I had some time to make a purchase or two before 2018.

So, now I've made a purchase. I found a new Provari 2.5 (with extension cap) and purchased it. I have also purchased a Hippo Provari V2 Cap Sleeve to go with it, (although I cannot find a silver tank ring for it) (Is this the right purchases so far? Or have I made a mistake somewhere?)

Now, what I'm wondering is if I can use my nautilus mini with this, or if I need to buy the full size Nautilus, or if another tank is better for this set up?

(I have a Kayfun but still learning how to build properly, so I'm wanting the current ease of drop in coils)
Your Provari won't care much about the tank you pick as long as it has the 510 connector, but you will want to make sure your coil is higher ohm, tootle range. If you want your top surface and tank sides to match, you might have some limits there. My Triton Mini's line up with the slant top, and my Nauti X matches the flat top. I prefer the shorter tanks just to keep the total length of the set from being so long.

One of the nice things about the Hippo is that it has an adjustable pin, so you can get tanks that aren't connecting properly working.

Thank you. I was figuring it might be a good thing to have, at least perhaps in the future. :)

Cool thanks! I'm good with tootie puffing, it's what I enjoy! :)

Hello people
i already asked my question at 'beginners forum' since i had to;
i short,i just got a radius and my tanks doesn't sit flush, there is a tiny (1mm)gap between the tank and the beauty ring due to the p3to510 connector being a bit higher than the B.ring.
they are both well tightened and the air flow channels match.
any ideas?

Can you post a pic and indicate the brand/model of topper?
Hey,I'm not sure you are talking to me,any how it's a provari radius and all of my tanks(Kayfun etc)has this issue.
it's not a 510 pin length problem, but the devices p3to510 adapter being to elevated.
I'll try posting a pic as soon as my phone is charged.

Yes, I was. I was just trying to get you to an answer. I don't notice that you had previously said "all my tanks". I have a KF V5 on my Radius right now and it seems tight.

It just needs some time to gather info and look at info sources. Provape just closed shop and all of their forums went to the Archives, which are accessible. For those forums, I would go to the base Forums page and search for Provape. The archives should pop up and then you can search there.

Are you saying the tanks are flush with the adapter but not the outer beauty ring? Sound like you have the adapter upside down. If you look closely there is a tapered side that is about 1mm long before the threads start. That taper goes against the mod, not against the tank. If it's upside down you will get a gap. Post pics with and without a tank if you can it will help.

However, these issues are a 510 problem since to this day there is no standard spec for the 510 connector.

i just saw a person with the same issue, here is his picture:
i'll just contact provape.View attachment 640541

Contact Bill at Provarirepair@gmail.com. Or, if you don't want to wait you can file down the base of the adapter a bit yourself(smooth side not groved side)

Funny thing about all these gap complaints is it's the lack of standard spec for the 510 that caused the need for beauty rings to begin with. The beauty ring is meant to be screwed up against the atty to take up the gap and provide support

yes 'i'll contact them, but i think it's a provape QC problem here, not verifying that as both rings are fully screwed, the upper area isn't completely smooth,in short, the adapter is too long.

I just tried to put a piece of paper between the my beauty ring and KFV5 and I could not get it in there.

I took off the 510 adapter and I did notice that there is a difference if it is put on up-side right or up-side down.

I can see the gap in your picture, but I can't tell about the 510.

EDIT: Ahh, okay.

Edit again: Thanks for the pics. Actually, because they closed, I got a couple extra of the adapter and the beauty rings.
