We had a fetcher cat too. Had to be the screw-on milk cap. The snap-on...no go. She'd put it on my lap every time then make all kind of noises waiting for me to throw it again. Nutty animal.Hahaha... cat toy - ball with a bell inside.. noisy things.. I don't know what they are called, so I call them dingly balls..

when I had outdoor cats, I would tap the spoon on the can in a specific rythm at feeding time. All I had to do to get them in was to go onto the back porch and tap that rythm onto an empty can, it worked like a charmMine plays fetch with her dingly ball too.. we laugh because I think she thinks she's a dog. When we first got her she wouldn't go outside, but now that she has fattened up some she will when the weather is good.. She is the first cat that I have ever had that comes in when I call for her. She just comes running at the sound of my voice.. it's cute.
