I have also bought a huge stock pile of blister packs but I am saving them for the day when my eyes and hands just can't coil and wick any more! How long do you think my blister packs will last for future use?
I also constantly question whether I should be using my internal battery mods first. If I leave the new ones in the vape drawer will I still be able to use them 10 years from now?
I have nightmare moments of being really really old and no one in my family vapes and can't set up my RTAS for me

Provari end caps:

Has anyone seen the performance end caps of the Procyon make a real world difference over using the large spring P3 end cap? No scientific evidence but either one seems to vape virtually the same to me. Maybe if I used something other than a Kabuki at 1.8 ohm, I could see or vape a difference. Dunno

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the spring in the small spring end caps were good for about 6 months before needing replacement. Spring fatigue I guess? I hope that isn't true. I don't have replacements. And if spring fatigue is an issue, I'm hoping I can stretch them back out or reshape them.

Provari circuit board mounting:

Prior to the P3 and Classic, ProVape simply glued the circuit boards to the tube. I know how certain glue degrades over time, becomes hard and brittle and worried that at some point even the pressure of the small diameter springs and routine use or a dropped mod will dislodge the circuit boards in earlier Provaris. So shoot me, but what I've done before the chance of any board movement is ... very carefully put a drop of super glue down each side of the board. The board isn't going anywhere now. Don't think it would ever need to again anyway. A little super glue goes a long way don't use too much. And within the close confines of the tube, too much might "fog" the display window as the super glue cures. I did see a tendency for that and on the next one, glued one side of the board and gave it time to dry before gluing the other side of the board.

^^^ Am I advocating that YOU do this with your Provari? ... NO !!! Don't do it !!! ... but it gave me peace of mind.

OH wait ... the circuit board might have to come out to replace a firing switch ... won't be able to do that with mine. DOH !!!

Anyone had to replace a firing switch? (he asks sheepishly) ... or worn one out?

And speaking of Kabuki on a Provari:

While traipsing through the Internet last night ... yes, traipsing ... I read that Aspire Cleito glass works as replacement glass on the Kabuki. And because the standard (3.5ml) Cleito glass is slightly taller than Kabuki glass, the coil wicking holes are fully exposed whereas they are partially hidden within the chimney of the Kabuki using standard Kabuki glass.

Furthermore, the Cleito 5ml "Fat Boy" glass is said to work on the Kabuki as well, but man that just looks like a shattered tank waiting to happen.

If that weren't enough, the Nautilus X 4ml Extension kit is said to work on the Kabuki. Making it somewhat top fill capable perhaps, depending on how tightly installed?

These glass options add a bit to the capacity of the Kabuki and that's all fine and good. The 4ml extension might change the thermal properties of the vape since the chimney is longer. Enough to notice? ... don't know. And what other tank properties might change by using glass alternatives?

The Kabuki is perfect as is to me ... but judging by the price or at some point availability of Kabuki branded replacement glass, Quartz glass or Polycarbonate, some may look for an alternative.

Anyone actually tried these alternatives?

Unfortunately I don't have spare springs…I wish I did…but I've been using one of mine 24/7 for about two years with no problems.

Based on spring use and life oplholik and Bea-FL have experienced, pretty sure I'll be okay then. I don't have spare springs, but I do have a couple of spare standard end caps and even a few extension end caps I could use the springs out of if push came to shove I guess

I have alternatives for the original Kabuki glass. I bought several from Bedazzled. They are lovely, but the sizes were a bit all over the place. They work, but they certainly aren't all standard Kabuki size.

Accessories
ProVarifuel has springs available, they are cheap, I would recomend getting a few if you plan on using these devices for the long haul. I replace mine occasionally, and have enough that I could answer a distress call in the future if I'm still around here.
