Facebook, Instagram, Photobucket,Twitter etc are all great places to back up photos :?:
I always figured if something like a Fire, Flood, Zombie Apocalypse, etc destroyed all my stuff
I would have proof to the insurance company what I lost. ;)

I keep gettin' emails from photobucket saying some features are disabled, ha ha...I already deleted every single photo, and just now deleted my acount. In the message block I told them that photobucket hostage gate was going to be their downfall, and was the most unwise decision I have ever see a company make in my life :pervy::laugh:

I never got any e-mails from them about any of this, I just use them for posting my pics here. It is just the easiest way to do it. It looks like imagebam will work for some of my stuff, but I guess some of my pics of my devises are to large for them, so I still need to figure out another host. :(

I am not too worried about loosing my stuff, just need a replacement for photo bucket.:|

I had two PB accounts. I deleted both over a week ago and STILL get "features are disabled" email.

Thing is, I think now it's just shameless spam advertisement from a desperate(?) website. IN FACT, if you scroll to the bottom of that "features are disabled" email and click on "unsubscribe", GUESS WHAT ... The unsubscribe link goes to ms.pbdeals.com, not your (former) account. And what a deal, eh

I live in some of the oldest parts of the country and there are grave stones from the 1700's (and probably before). They are weathered down to nothing and well on their way to being claimed by the Earth. Clearly no one has paid any attention to them for centuries. Gone and forgotten.

I grew up a few miles from sleepy hollow cemetery. Tarrytown was Incorporated in 1648. Some of the grave stones are no longer legible. I'll probably end up in the meadow land's and spend eternity looking for Jimmy.

My new Lost Vape DNA 75C shipped from China. Hopefully it won't be held hostage in California.

A few years back I was very active on a knife forum, and posted lots of pics hosted by PB, I had hundreds and hundreds of photos of stuff I modified, built, just collected etc. That was before my computer crashed and I lost my photo editor that I used to use, after the crash, my PC and PB never got along too good anymore, I had some shop load a older version of Win 7 on it he saved what he could for me of my data...I dont get too attached to photo's anymore...when we were preparing to move into the smaller place, I had boxes and boxes of photos, slides, negatives, old cameras, like really old ones. Even had a couple silver plate box cameras in the collection. I spent two days sitting next to a trash can looking at stuff and just keeping the stuff that had people I cared about on them. I had been an active photographer since about age twelve, starting with a 1952 Argus camera which is one that I kept.

I guess the whole Photobucket thing kinda felt like a betrayal to me, maybe I don't have the right to feel that way, but I do. Nowadays its easier for me to snap a pic with my Ipod, and email it to myself, then just load it on here, the old knife forum also finally got into the same hosting as we have here now, so maybe someday I'll play around and see how it is over there again...

I was pretty active for a time on a knife forum, in their Traditional sub-forum anyway. Over there, I was "BrotherJim". Haven't logged on in a long long time though. Eventually I collected all the traditional patterns I wanted and a couple of customs. Well, all except some SFO's that got snatched up so fast, there were never any available or wanting 2-3 times as much on the bay. Still keep Great Eastern Cutlery and Northwoods in my periphery.

Doesn't matter, they will do everything to not pay you what they should. Insurance is good until you need to utilize it. Insurance companies will have front row seats in Hell.

Okay that does not work at all like photo bucket, none of the post links on the site would work, I had to click on the save image tab, then i was able to drag and drop it in, weird.

I don't have devises like that, I just save a few of these now and then if they are really cute, not really a lot of them though. :|
