But a drop didn't crack it.
Back then I was changing batteries 3 times a day. :?:
... over tighten the screws is what cracked it.
That has worried me since I saw those seated in plastic. I get the screws really tight. Nail breaking tight. Even so, one day I noticed a screw missing. At first I thought it had somehow snapped off but luckily, VERY luckily, I found the screw laying in the console of my Jeep.

I don't change batteries either, so I thought about using just a little tiny dab of lock-tight on the screws. But I decided that would put stress on the plastic part too when I tried to remove the screws. Now, I just check tightness more often.

I literally just got it today. As far as I know no drops. No play in the plate. I tried two different batteries. A samsung and a sony.
Rise, did you notice the noise before you installed a battery? Maybe try taking the battery out and putting it back together and see if it still makes noise without a battery in it. Also you asked about maybe the top screws. Compare it to your other Radius. Screws should look in the same relative position and one screw should not be higher or lower than the other from the top face of the plate.

That's a whole lotta ugly in that pic Chief! Looks like the screws must have shrunk and the plastic was brittle at those temps...

did Bill replace that busted part? I tried to open mine up one time and couldn't figure it out either, I didn't want to force anything, there has to be a way to crack them open though, but I'll leave that to someone else to find out.
Yea Bill fixed it like new :) Then a couple weeks later I had it in my shirt pocket and leaned forward and it dropped in the toilet
But it dried out and works fine

I live in the woods made mostly of oak trees. You can imagine the squirrel population I have here. Neighbor got tired of them so he spent a day sitting on his deck picking them off with a 22. Killed 16 of them. Next day I look over and see as many squirrels as there is any other day. :)
I think it's funny/sad that people move to the woods to be close to nature, then get mad when nature comes in their yard
Maybe you neighbor should move to the city

I figure Bill fixing Provape products isn't going to last forever.

I think it would be great if he could make some videos on taking apart and putting back together Provape products.
Maybe make a few videos of him fixing stuff :?:
And make a YouTube channel called Bill's Provape Repair channel :pop:

Just got to figure out where to get the parts after Bill closes

The animals can be frustrating to be sure. But you got to work around them. I cut down a couple trees that were next to the house. It took away easy passage for the squirrels on to my roof. Problem solved. Got deer who like eating certain plants. Just don't plant them anymore. Can't put bird feeders out because the birds and squirrel robbers draw in snakes who draw in hawks and it becomes a free for all. Just got to find workarounds.

I think there's going to be used ProVaris for sale down the road, especially if folks stop being able to get juice or other supplies ;) Bills business model is not sustainable for long, no more new parts. As far as the Radius, I already started looking at other options for the needs it provided me, no way I'm going to take my one and only on trips anymore, heck, it really doesn't leave the house now. I know it's different for you because your job takes you on travel a lot.

I got one ProVari that's on the fritz now, wrapped some blue painters tape on it and wrote " parts" on the tape...

I read that Zen~ had a fix for a broken Radius spine that he has been doing.
Maybe he could be persuaded to show us how to take a Radius apart. Would be cool if he had some of the parts he was working on, and could Frankentein the Radius of boards into a metal housing.

My doom and gloom rebuildable back-up:
ZA-U centered on a TC60W eLeaf.
The display shows the big 3 all at the same time. Resistance, Voltage and Wattage. So convenient for a rebuildable. And I can use any wire (I think) since it's TC. The TC60W was the first mod I ever bought. I have three and had to cherry pick this one for a perfect left-handed natural grip and position of the wick and fire button. I think it's a pretty sweet marriage of old school and new school. Thanks @Zen Knitter for steering me in the right direction with the Z Atty !!! Nice :) ~~~

Kill them all and eat them.

What would be a good reason? Return of the gold rush?

Is THAT what the kids are calling it these days? Hu Nu.

We're all forgotten eventually. Even the most famous among us will only be remembered as caricatures.

DH... this should be a poster. EXCELLENT and astute.

I keep gettin' emails from photobucket saying some features are disabled, ha ha...I already deleted every single photo, and just now deleted my acount. In the message block I told them that photobucket hostage gate was going to be their downfall, and was the most unwise decision I have ever see a company make in my life :pervy::laugh:

Stupitt silly PhotoPhbucket. I'm so done with them. Thankfully, I've saved every pic on my computer.

I wouldn't put it past communist Kalifornia.

My new Lost Vape DNA 75C shipped from China. Hopefully it won't be held hostage in California.

I was hoping for an Earth Quake!!!

Chip off the side of the continent and float away, perhaps?

And collide with an Iceberg!

You should ask around and check my memory on this but ... ~Zen was/is really safety conscience ... I seem to recall the Z-Atty has a spring designed to collapse so it might not be suited to sub-Ω coils.

Your collective assistance please. I purchased a P3 with software version 35. The current and last update is 37. Is there a need to send it to Bill to update? It does not have the improved end cap, but does have a brass colored spring instead of the "stainless" spring.
Thanking you in advance!

Congratulations !!! :)
The last update was Version 40 and was on all units shipped after 20JUl16. You would have to send it to Bill or someone for any updates. I think the ZFO or HoH does the updates for $15. There may be others. If there is a brick and mortar vape store near you who was once a ProVape dealer, it might be worth giving them a call to see if they could do it for you.
