Thanks E!!!

Although she has a couple scrapes, She's vapin real nice!
I like the V2 mini's the best, that logo looks so cool to me, and no rings around the teardrops. Yours is one of the nicest black ones I've seen in a while.

Been a couple of weeks with the ZA-U topping the Procyon and it's only gotten better. Ohms have gone from 1.8-1.9 and the vape has become really smooth and mellow @ 7.4W.

There is no snap crackle pop from the coil, just a delightful little sizzle now and then. So no hot spots at least at 7.4W. I don't know if I got lucky my first coil build or it's just that easy. Only time will tell but it may be some time before I need to re-coil. Quite some time maybe. I saved the HoH original factory installed coil and mesh wick to toss back in if I ever became frustrated trying to build a coil. I wanted to keep it pristine as a guide and reference for the time being. Vape volume and density is just as good if not better (seems better to me) than my Kabuki with 1.8ohm nautilus coil. I'm just as happy with the HoH Z Atty-U as I am the HoH Kabuki. Only tanks I use these days on the only mods I use ... ProVari. Like the HoH Kabuki tanks I have, I see no reason to change anything about the ZA-U. Both suit my personal vape style and preference to a T.

@ENAUD ... Several years ago, I had this 1975 Russell Barlow Commemorative by Schrade Cutlery and just was not happy with it. The original sawcut delrin handles from Schrade were sadly faded after almost 40 years. I felt a Russell Barlow should have had saw cut bone to begin with, even if it was a commemorative. It has Russell tang marks stamped from original Russell tooling equipment, R & Arrow on the bolsters, and by gosh, I just wanted bone handles like many of the Barlow's Russell made, not cheap delrin.

By this time, Schrade had folded up U.S. manufacturing and name sold off. I contacted a former Schrade cutler that I had tracked down, Eric, who was then head cutler with Canal Street Cutlery and asked him if he would be willing to put saw cut bone handles on this old "Russell" for me. He said he'd be happy to and I sent the barlow to Eric for his assessment, evaluation and some "lovin'". We exchanged email a couple of times and then he said, "You know what, I have these fossilized mammoth ivory slabs laying around and waiting for a project and how would you like me to use those instead of bone? I only paid $30 for the mammoth ivory slabs and you can just pay me what you think it's worth after I'm done." ... I couldn't understand why he thought a lowly Schrade that came with delrin handles and likely 440A steel was deserving, but didn't question him. I think he wanted to properly honor and show respect to the Russell and Schrade heritage of which he'd been a part, maybe. Who knows, but I agreed to it. Love this knife now. It was to be a user like Russell barlows were intended to be but I find I only take it out from time to time just to reminisce and marvel at something made from material that is many thousands of years old and from fossilized ivory of an animal that once lived and roamed the earth. The saw cut Eric did is very light and in random areas. As though the cuts were made by time, not manufacturer, but it is saw cut. Anyway, had it out handling it while enjoying a very nice ZA-U vape and thought I'd share. "Sitflyer" might even remember it ... dunno.

great photo and back story Hobbs :thumb: it was sad to see Canal street close when they did, and back when Scrade closed, I was working for a Hardware distribution company, we had placed an restock order with them, and got a letter instead, informing us that they were no longer taking orders and were closing down, just like that they were gone. And now I'm looking at your wonderful photo of the ProCyon with that very special Barlow, and my mind is taken back to other times...well done.

And then there is always the original. Others maybe are different but they are rarely better than the original.

I've always been a fan of the original.

The one I posted just blew me away with the emotion and power.

S & G made a lot of good music. One has to wonder if they could have made more or if they made the right move by tapping out.
