Sounds like a tough road Gin. You'll be tougher. Give 'em hell!!Thank you.
Thank you.Oh, dude...
Have you spoken with your doctor about vaping? Is it even OK to do?
I'm sorry to read this. Seriously.
Thank you! My Grandfather, before surgery, used to say, "Piece of cake!" It's in my DNA.Sounds like a tough road Gin. You'll be tougher. Give 'em hell!!
Did they diagnose early?Thank you.
I have several doctors. I quit asking when all I could get out of them is, "You're still getting nicotine." Yeah, so?
Vaping is not hurting me. In fact, when I vape, my O2% increases. While there is no cure (except the Father), I haven't gotten worse since April. I am on Esbriet ($9,000 a month) to slow down the progression. Whatever caused the disease and the ground glass has cleared up. My breathing has improved on my 6 minute walk test.
You should see the look on people's faces when I say, "Imagine the clouds I'll be able to make with my new lungs! (double lung transplant)"

I thought I remembered you saying you were on O2, stay strong and keep fighting as hard as you can each day.Umm, I've never bothered to say anything on here but when showing Jackie this tonight, she said maybe I should now.
Look at the title and list of songs. I have IPF. I made it for family, friends and medical personnel. I proof heard a copy today before sending it to my best friend.
Umm, well... I've been on O2 since August 2015. The local yahoos thought I had IPF in 2015 but the pulmonologist at Henry Ford Hospital didn't give the official diagnosis until last April after several trips, stay overs, tests and procedures.Did they diagnose early?
Thanks! Rock And Roll!I thought I remembered you saying you were on O2, stay strong and keep fighting as hard as you can each day.
So sorry to hear about this. Hate is a strong word, but I hate to hear people having this kind of experience with ProVari. Good luck getting it sorted out. Think Bill is gonna be your guy if you can't return it or just want to keep it regardless.Just received a Provari in the mail that I bought. It’s brand new, never used 2.5.
Can they measure the progress of the IPF?Umm, well... I've been on O2 since August 2015. The local yahoos thought I had IPF in 2015 but the pulmonologist at Henry Ford Hospital didn't give the official diagnosis until last April after several trips, stay overs, tests and procedures.
Yea you plug the USB drive into your computer and it sets up the program. So maybe Bill has a copy of the firmware, the programmer would be pretty useless without the code, no?
I was thinking that it worked like the Radius, where you load the Progamming software on your PC, and the actual code was retrieved from ProVapes server. When they started having more and more sales, I sent my P3's in to get the latest updates on them.Yea you plug the USB drive into your computer and it sets up the program.
I thought I read it was doing E5 with no atty on itPlease - try this...I had the same E5 & E8 codes happening and was afraid I was going to have to send it in or that it was toast. (and yes, without the atty on it too)
Take the atty off.
Take the battery out.
Put the battery back in.
Turn the volts way down - like 3.3 or 3.4
Put the atty back on.
See what happens.
I think what happens is it gets the Error and then needs to be re-set by removing the battery - then knock down the Volts. If you put the atty back on and try to use it without knocking down the volts the same thing will keep happening.
If you just take the atty off, it still has the Error - hence remove the battery to re-set.
What set mine off is that the Volts had gotten turned way up somehow.
It was about a 30 minute panic for me to figure things out.
I don't know if that will work but sure sounds logical to me.Please - try this...I had the same E5 & E8 codes happening and was afraid I was going to have to send it in or that it was toast. (and yes, without the atty on it too)

Yeah, when I need more O2. Lol Also, there's CT scans, chest x-rays blah, blah, blah. But yeah, the biggest and more immediate indicator is needing more O2. I took a major nosedive last December but I seem to have leveled out for now... Anybody's guess, could be like a roller coaster, steps or a rocket dive....Can they measure the progress of the IPF?
