My repaired ProVari arrived from Bill today, sent it to him in bubble wrap, it came home in a box, with an extra spring tucked in there I believe he replaced the spring in the end cap as well, though I don't think it needed replacing yet...excellent service and turnaround. I am pleased, and highly recommend his service to anyone in need!

yes, button top batts for minis.

Silver-- either matte or preferably shiny, but I'm okay with a frankensetup, honestly, I just want one with slightly larger battery capacity for when I go out. Closest I got was grey/gunmetal which is what I got. Still wondering about the battery issue.. I can do a search, the husband is bringing me tea.

i use aw button top 18650 batts in my black mini.
did you look on the bay for a extention tube ?

Correct, 2.5= button top only.
