I really really hope that is not the case. But....
That's why I didn't get all "thrilled" by the new FDA stance, I think our president is quite wily and while that can be a useful characteristic in politics, well, you can take anything too far. I am afraid I am more of the "show me" persuasion when it comes to politics, in anything, rather than "tell me." I've already accepted that 99.99999% of government officials are merely telling me what they "think" "I" "want" to "hear."
Also, all these "heads" do report to our leader, and he's pretty anti most things (well except pretty women I guess) that have even the remotest thing to do with addiction, so I wouldn't be shocked if he wiped out tobacco via vaping, and then either put vaping in a stranglehold or tried to eliminate it altogether.
While I don't consider him that successful of a "businessman" he certainly is, for our times anyway, and knows how to wipe out competition both "in public" and "behind closed doors."
I'm afraid I've reached that stage of age where I no longer care who is the "least worst" politician. I refuse to vote for anyone unless I can genuinely hold my head up high at the results. I'd probably write in my local pastor or something, next time, if I even bother.
I just say do what you need to in order to be prepared for whatever. Useful advice under any regime/circumstance.
We can all move to Britain, really, worst case... except we can't ALL move there. But I think there will be countries that support vaping, in whatever fashion, and under whatever circumstances and I think Britain will be one of them. They genuinely don't care what other countries think. America likes to think itself the boss of the world, but if you ask me, Britain still remains the leader. I don't care who won WW2, sure America can mobilize itself when necessary, that doesn't make it the "world leader," at least not in my eyes.
I'm kinda betting on Britain/Canada to mop up any HUGE mess this regime manages to put in place, and including freaking.... WW3.
