My Dad suffers from macular degeneration. His eye doctor told him to he had to quit smoking (occasional pipe and cigar). Told him to vape 0% nicotine (said it was nicotine that would make him go blind). His family doctor agreed, vaping was ok as long as it was zero nicotine. Don't shoot the messenger.
Speaking of tolerances. Here’s 2 Kabuki clones. One on right is early version, manufacturer unknown. One on left is newer version by Steam Tribe. There are slight variances in the depth of the positive pin seating on the ProVaries, and as Anna said, the 510 connectors on atties will have variances. Couple the two and you get a whole range of how the they fit together...
Here’s the box the early one came in. Had a round sticker on it that said Kabuki. Had to remove it to open box.View attachment 728383

Probably made in China. Here’s the box the early one came in. Had a round sticker on it that said Kabuki. Had to remove it to open box. View attachment 728385 Any experts know who made this version?
I don't understand Fsat tech, they will have an item, and in the description they will list a whole bunch of the same item at different prices. With the Kabuki clones, I always ordered the most expensive ones listed, and they have all been serviceable, except the Titanium version, after a few months the threads got all buggered up on the base and the chimney, so coils either won't thread in, or will thread part way and bind. JUNK! The 316 SS versions with adjustable pin 510 threads ( Unobtanium from HOH) all work just fine. Who knows where they are made, probably in a small batch shop using old milling machines and lathes that use to be run by machinists in the US, before the companies outsourced and sold all the MFG equipment abroad.View attachment 728383

I did some research. I found the one with the round box, the one on the right in my pic. Amazingly, fast tech has several versions, it looks like 4 different manufacturers by the different boxes. All different prices. I never knew that. The one on the right in my pic is a better tank. Longer chimney, longer glass. Holds more liquid. Also on that one the chimney is long enough to completely shroud the wicking holes in the coil.I don't understand Fsat tech, they will have an item, and in the description they will list a whole bunch of the same item at different prices. Never heard of it KAS. Good luck!Have any of you guys heard of Retinal Vein Occlusion? I guess it has happened in my right eye, I went to Eye Glass World to get a new prescription yesterday. They could not give me one for the right eye. I am going to a real Eye Doctor on Monday, that can hopefully give me some better answers. I basically have blurred vision in that eye.

Here's another online joint. Been around for a long time. That is a great site, I have never ordered my glasses online before, if and when I get this figured out, I might just order from them. I have worn Bifocals for about 2 years, really made a big difference.

10 years ago (when I was 41) I had to have my left eye lens replaced due to cataracts. I have reading glasses whereas the right lens is clear glass. Thanks, never heard of it either. I kind of expected something before I went, the vision in my right eye basically got worse over night. I am going to hold off on any new glasses till I know what the deal is with my right eye.
