Mine was watching Mikhail Baryshnikov dance with the Cincinnati Ballet many years ago. Having loved classical ballet my whole life watching him dance can never be equalled…unless I could have watched Nureyev or Nijinski dance :)

I worked a gig with him once.

He’d show up with the crew and do his warm up while the deck was still being swabbed. Impressed me.

The Lovely Diana (the lady in my life) has a god child who was prima with Cincinnati in years past:

I was wandering around Cincinnati once. I saw a bar that was hosting The Duke, I paid Ten Bucks, got a show beyond belief, El Gotto fifteen minutes without interruption. My, then, girlfriend was impressed.

Oh, yes.

A date took me to similar small venue to see Miles Davis, when I was clueless. Fabulous.

Don't remember the guy, but will not forget that stellar event.

I never saw Miles Davis. If I had then my response would have been, "Lord, take me now, I have experienced it all, my time here is finished". You were a lucky lady that night.
I have an album, Kind of Blue" that I have never tired of. I wore out the vinyl and got the DC.

Another very memorable event for me, of a very different genre:

Atlantic City 1969 concert. Google it (I'm lousy with links via phone)

It was just days before Woodstock, civil 3 days, and very similar list of performers, many known like Janus, Little Richard & Jefferson Airplane, and other quite new--Santana blew everyone away, for example.

Outstanding.

It is to your credit that you remember or were you told you had a great time?

Are you still close to AC? I'm there every weekend. Still great shows there.

No -- only an occasional trek back to the Eastern Shores, every couple of years. Several relatives are now at or near to the Delaware beaches, though they used to be spread out from New York State to Maryland.

Mr. tearose and I moved to Southern California--leaving the political city of D.C. in our past and have endured LA LA land for some decades. We really do have nice weather.
