My first two 8 tracks were Montrose and Slade. Think my wife still has them,....

first wife, I'm not getting them back. :headbang:

Montrose and Slade, a? gnees, I love you!

I've been staying out of the 8 track conversation because I'm not as old as you people (although I look it ) and 8 tracks were before my time but I just can't take it anymore and have a Rock And Roll 8 track story to share that actually affected my whole entire life starting in the 8th grade.

I went to Holy Cross Lutheran School (5-8th grade) in Saginaw, MI. For our 8th grade class trip, we shared a bus with St. Lorenz's 8th grade out of Frankenmuth, MI to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, OH. The trip was 200 miles one way.
Well, this kid from St. Lorenz had a 8 track jam box and the only tape he had was, "AC/DC: Back In Black" All the way there and all the way back (over 3 hours hours each way) - AC/DC: BACK IN BLACK! 6 hours of AC/DC: Back In Black.
To this day... it's the only album I can listen to over and over and over and over and over....
Matter of fact, if I was going to a deserted island for the rest of my short life and I could take only one album to listen to, you guessed it, AC/DC: Back In Black. All because of that 8 track, over and over and over and over...

And when you can't have your cake and eat it too ... make mine pie. Hershey's Chocolate Creme Pie. Mighty dandy on Saturday night after a steak dinner :) ...

I am kind of surprised, I have tried looking for info on Dicodes devises, there is not too much really on ECF. I even looked at underground, there does not seem to be a lot of like for this devise. The one I am looking at is the Dani Box Mini, I am just interested in wattage mode. There is almost no info on how it functions, temp control there is tons of info. The common remarks about them, is they are hated because it has no on board charger, and they sell an expensive charging dock instead. Changing batteries is no big deal to me, I will probably end up getting one of these, even with the price being so high. Another thing about these is they have a 2 year warranty. :?:

KAS

I bought my first Dani Box 2 years ago and quickly followed with 2 more. They have been rock steady over time. I'd rate them on Provari level at least, with the classic German overengineering thrown in. That's not a bad thing, they are not so complicated to be annoying but build to the highest standards.

As for wattage mode, it is every bit as smooth as Pro vape. I'm not sure why there would be hate towards not having an onboard charger since most mods do not. They use a screw cap, though the Mini has replaced the coin slot method with a cap that can be turned by hand. I've not used the new 80w board like the MIni has but have no doubt it will be every bit as good as the ones I have.

I'll add a photo of the trio. Just a quick shot as I didn't even wipe them down. They each have been used daily and not babied. It is a measure of Dicodes quality that they look like new after over 2 years of use.

If you do decide to get one (the minis are new and don't stay in stock very long) I would highly recommend buying from Creme de Vape. There is a company with a US address selling Dicodes lately, but I can tell horror stories about their efficiency, customer service, and pricing. CDV has been quicker and cheaper to my door than the other company.

Although I'm actually not as old as some of you people but look it and 8 tracks were before my time, I too should clarify this was meant as a fun loving jest and not a serious cut down.

That was clear, Gin!

It'd take a lot more than that to insult US anyway. Besides, I think I made the worst comment about the 8 Tracks. It was based on my too much experience, but I grew to hate those things.

I still think they were a practical joke.

Fun can be fun. ;)

I figured it's just a matter of time before Bill runs out of parts and I can't get my Radius fixed anymore. :(
I will eventually need to find another mod to use
I'm definitely going to be following this one.:)
