I'm starting to have trouble with my Classics, and P3. I know the problem I'm having has been discussed before, but don't remember the solution, if there is one. I'm getting premature battery low indications from them. I used to be able to just clean everything good to solve this, but that is no longer helping. I will have a battery that reads 3.97 and the light starts blinking. Unscrew the cap, and re tighten, it will last a little longer. So, what to do now?
P3 Repalcement Spring

Question, how old are your cells?

Sorry about the cracked glass. You can fix it with that glass meld stuff (can't remember the name at the moment). I am sure someone on here will know the name of it.

See my above posts for solution to the battery problem. Don't give up, it will all work out. I bet someone could replace the screen, if need be.
Does your spring bottom out when using the adapter gadget?

I don't think so. The extension goes on like normal and I don't push it to get it flush cause the tiny gap doesn't bother me. I will try it without the extension, with a regular end cap as soon as batts charge and report back.

It is possible that it would solve the other problem @oplholik without even replacing the spring since it gives it that tiny extra fit.

I forgot to say, if anyone wants the adapters, she doesn't have a lot left and I haven't found them anywhere else so you might want to grab some. Tell her rosesense sent you lol and use code ecf for 10% off (I kept forgetting on the phone and lost about 16.00, bummer). She also has or had a few more 18650, the aw batts but I think I cleaned them out on the 18500.

I wonder if the P2/2.5 spring would be better on a P3 since those are smaller.

I think someone had an earlier software version where you could pic between percent or the battery icon, that feature went away during one of the upgrades IIRC, I was a late adopter of the P3's.
My P3 ver 39 shows batt percentage.
My P3 ver 41 shows batt icon.

Hey JUMA, not sure if you saw this, the Radius programmer file is on this archived page, but I don't think it's going to help you, this program connected the device to a server which then downloaded the firmware to your device. I'm pretty certain that that server is no longer on line.

Yes, it was a dead end. But I'm still looking through my stuff. My home office has a bad case of the blivets.

Some 2015's, 2016, 2017, 2018. I haven't noticed the newer lasting much longer than the older ones.
Couldn't hurt to get some new springs and try them, clean out the cup where the springs seat before replacing with some isopro too. Good luck.

What about reversing the idea Bronze had and putting a P3 spring in the 2.5?

That is a bad thing to do, the 2.5 has just glue dots securing the board, there is a good chance you might break the board loose using a P3 spring in a 2.5. ProVape owners warned about this.

The Classic Opl was referencing uses a P3 end cap, and is built just like the P3.
