Unfortunately (or fortunately for my wallet) I didn't know about provape going out of business or the fire sale until weeks after it was all over. My four year old mini and 2.5 are daily drivers. I picked up a radius, classic and p3 since the demise. Other than two JACs and innokin platform/zenith won in a contest, for back-up, I don't use anything other than the provaris. My major concern, like the previous posts, is button top battery availability.

We’re finding out button tops are a major problem.

I have extension tube and extension cap for the mini, but really don't want to be forced using them. My four 18350 AW are getting long in the tooth and although still taking a charge, don't last very long.

You might want to get a few of those adapters so you can use flat tops with Vari's. Also, there are a few of the button tops still around (see earlier posts) if you want to stock up on any.

18350s arent as hard to find as 18490 and 18500. See rosesense’s post earlier today for 18350’s.

I frequently cannot find what I am HOLDING. Also go looking for glasses when they are up on my forehead.

Don't even ask me about the move to the new town and apartment. I am directionally challenged so I'm glad it is SMALL and I don't have much STUFF yet. The new town... .oy. Drivers all competent and know where they are going, I ALMOST caused a collision yesterday but I think it's getting better, every day I catch up and learn a little bit more.

Like the new job so far although my first live day is gonna be TERRIFYING, I think at least I now know where my office is (late yesterday) and it's in the thick of the action so I won't be ignored. However, I am SO behind on computer skills they did NOT set it up right and it's been a total trainwreck and all bad things have happened INCLUDING logging on to a corrupted server (That one was REALLY confusing). Everyone says it is normal, I do not FEEL as if it is normal even slightly but I guess I will be finding out.

I don't THINK I have committed a fireable offense but I don't even KNOW. I don't think so. Everyone has been super helpful.

Good to hear from you. Chin up and hang in there. I have every confidence that you will be able to pick things up and do well. :)

Wondering if anyone remembers....I recall that the spec for the P2 and P2.5 said it could accept either a 18490 or 18500 but they had to be button tops. Is this true?

Yes, I have used both, at least in the 2.5. I honestly can't remember much about the 2.0 as I sold all mine (I think).

There are some Efest 18490 flats on Ebay. Add the adapter and they may produce a smaller gap on the Provari. I also see some Efest 18500 button tops. See link. This one is price for two. There's another one for three and it even says in the description "For Provaris"..

Thanks, I think I got these already, lol. I also found some aw ones in the 18490 size and cleaned them out.

Can we say I am a 'Provari store'?

David on the HHV thread found some AW 18490 button tops at Wyoming Vapor. But I'm staying away from AW. They've been closed down nearly a year and those batteries are not fresh. Yes, they deteriorate even sitting on a shelf. And once the charge depletes after a few months it deteriorates rapidly.
