Hello there Ms. Kat! Life is calm. Still haven't had a cig since 2012. I spend most of my time training my dog, Blitzen.

Blitzen looks like he might have issues with training.

I have missed you. Fluffy unicorns, indeed!

I've missed all you peeps as well!

You are correct, Blitzen does have issues with training - there is never enough! We were going to the dog training club 3x a week and I've really felt this 4 week holiday break. If I can't find something to teach her, she will work on her own. Not the best plan, since one of her favorite things is opening jars and bottles. She also likes bells.

I remember one of these early or mid-fifties, not in England, but up in Scotland. It was outside a corner store that I passed daily on my way to school and too high up the wall for me. The cost was also one old penny. In those days, if I remember correctly, the USD was (for many years) worth seven shillings - there were 20 shillings in a pound and 12 pennies in a shilling. So you can see how cheap cigarettes were. Even if they still cost the same today, I like to think I wouldn't smoke any more.
SHOCK, HORROR: that works out at 240 cigarettes for $1
Maybe some Stateside geriatric can remember the US price from back then.
