The Dani Mini Box is around the price that some of the Radius's were at, and like the radius's they are worth the price. My :2c: :)

Here's another thought to think about. The Dani 21700 is almost identical in size (but not weight) as the Radius. Who'd have thunk it.

I do like what I have seen with that one, I have been considering it. I just can't do it right now, too many large bill's to pay right now. :|

I think CAS's assessment is actually true. If you get the right exchange rate/deal the dani anyway is a hair over 200 bucks. Etc.

Anna

I was looking and the price was $300.00. I don't have a clue what I paid for the Radius or TI P3 but I'm sure it wasn't $300.00 The Radius was so easy to use. I'm still wondering why it just stopped working.

I don't remember the exact price I paid, but after shipping I think it was $250.00 from Cream De vape. I know that some have gotten if for less than that, with a sale or some kind of discount. I had to save for them myself, when I can I will be ordering more Dicodes. :)

Yep.

Creme de vape has it priced:

£205.95 Price w/ VAT
£164.76 Price w/o 20% VAT, VAT not charged when not shipping to EU addresses.

USD = ~215.69 + Shipping

I just realized that you might have been looking at the site Dicodes USA, and if you were, don't even consider using them. From what I have read they are not a authorized retailer, and have nothing in stock, and poor customer service.

That is where I looked. Is the battery life the same as the Radius? Should I bury my radius, throw in garbage or throw over the fence into the woods?

I have found that the battery life on these is actually better than the Radius, at least it sure seems like it. :)
I am not sure what I would do with a radius that does not work, I know there used to be a guy named bill that was doing repairs, I think I read that he was still doing them part time. I am not sure though, I never used him.

I'm not sure of the effiency of each board, but the batteries in my Dicodes last much longer than those in my Radiuses. That brings me to my single minor complaint about Provari gear. The owners were so focused on safety (I don't fault them for that - it's a good thing) that their low power cutoff was a lot higher than it needed to be while still being totally safe. From what I can tell, the Radius starts flashing/refusing to fire at 3.7 volts. Since a freshly charged battery is 4.1-4.2, there's only half a volt or so to use.

The Dicodes has a menu option where you can set the low battery warning. It will not let you set it to an unsafe level, but you have a bit of room to play around while using Mooch's recommendations. That alone gives me more runtime on the Dicodes and is why I say they last longer - without knowing anything about the relative efficiency of the boards.

Stupid analogy, but in my mind it's equivalent to seeing a speed limit of 40 on a city street - and choosing to drive 20 to make really sure you don't speed.

Another agreement on the downright amazing battery management of the Dicodes chips. That hit me immediately, when I first got my hands on one, and it remains the one that stands above all others in that department.

If my reading of the docs was accurate, the chip actually shuts itself down when not in use, which is likely a contributing factor to why the batteries last so long. That's strictly a guess on my part though. I'm just happy they work like they do.

The Wheel is 48" Diameter, 51" tall with the base.

I still have my Radii, but the Dicodes No. 6 just seems to be the shape that would fit well in the hand. The larger sized battery is a plus, also.

But, the Radii are the masters of the house. Maybe in 10 years.

I see a lot of new products go by, but, there is no real quality control and I definitely don't want a cheap mod just giving out at a bad moment. I would rather have a better quality mod.
