Ooh, thanks for the flashback. When I was a TEEN (that's long ago and far away), I would do a cover of Beautiful People...and totally had forgotten...

I know I have posted this before, but I really love this tune. :)

@kas122461, it is a beautiful song. I just wanted to hear it as a live recording. And, there is a bit of backstory that taught me more about it. Thank-you for getting me there.

Yeah I have posted that one before, that is a great one. When I first found that, I think I watched it at least 20 times. That is the best one I have found, I wish there was a live version that was in higher quality. I just felt like posting the raw tune tonight. :)

I just watched that again, it brings me to tears, I like it so much. Her voice is just amazing.

    That's a good thing, no?

Yes, it is. Sun is shining and it finally stopped raining and blowing. Wind was so strong from that tornado in AL that it blew a metal burn barrel across the yard and up a hill. Lucky here compared to many.

I think there are still many unaccounted for that will turn up dead. Sad.

I'm not cheering until I know the person who replaces him will be better. As it is, Gottlieb was a whole hell of a lot better than the guy he replaced. Will that trend continue?
coin toss, very unsettling at the moment...at least Scott Gott pumped the brakes a little bit on the Deeming...this could be very bad.

I agree that there is a very good chance the next FDA chief will be worse for us.

But the thing that is SO depressing came from reading the comments for the article. Every anti-vaping comment was crystal clear in that the people are truly and honestly convinced that vaping and smoking are exactly the same, and that Big Tobacco is (and has been) running vaping as long as it's existed.

I firmly support CASAA and the other advocacy groups. But they've been a mouse squeak off in the distance while 1000 watt loudspeakers in every household are blaring so many untruths and junk science.

Vietnam was a long time ago. It seems we've forgotten the power of Hearts and Minds. I haven't, and that's why I see doom and gloom for all of us who have lengthened our lives doing something that "everybody knows" is bad for you, them, their children, and air quality.
