I asked my mail carrier about the Sunday thing. She said it was a deal with Amazon that got things started and if they had Priority deliveries that could be made also, they'd just do it while they were out. Might be because they want to impress their customers, or more likely it lessens the load for Monday. So for at least this location, it boils down to "well, as long as I'm here..."

Your Post Office delivers on Sunday? How did you swing THAT? Our Post Office is open for two hours on Saturday (9:30-11:30) and closes on the weekdays at 4PM. Yes, 4PM and their clock is 3 minutes fast!
Yep, like DPL said ... Amazon. I do not get any letter mail on Sunday or any packages from anyone other than Amazon. Well, I have maybe once like GeekyGeezer said ... just because they were there anyway for the Amazon package. They just deliver Amazon packages that come with Prime 2 day shipping. Maybe some kind of special delivery packages too like DPL said. Dunno.

Seems like four pages of going postal.

So what about that new 42cc weed eater Home Depot is selling??

I'll play, I just bought a new Craftsman one cause my fancy one is too heavy. Lo and behold, this one is just as heavy. If I could only find my batteries for the cordless one, I would be all set. Since I have 3 of the things now. Would be cheaper to pay someone to do it.

I'll be watching to see who the Cardinals pick. No, wait - they bolted out of here. So I'll keep an eye on the Rams' choices. #%$*&^, they left too.

Somehow the bloom has sorta gone away for NFL things. :)
Hey! The Cardinals bolted from Chicago. Some of us have long memories yuh know. ;)
A little Cotton Tail for your entertainment. Not what you're thinkin', @gnees .

A small drum kit for the professor. Always thought he liked the big drum kits so no one had to see him. He’s too shy to play Charlie Watts’ drum set. :)

I've got a Troy Bilt TB635 30cc head and all the Troy Bilt attachments. Can't recommend the TB635. One season under the belt and I've already replaced the carburetor. Wouldn't idle and ALL I EVER run in it is non-ethanol gas. Get a Stihl or something else. Since getting a (light weight) Black & Decker 40V electric trimmer, all I use the Troy Bilt for is edging because I need the torque only a gas burner can give. Love the grab and go convenience of the B & D.

I've gone to electric mostly but still have gas burner backups. Can't kill my 13 year old Craftsman lawn mower. The deck is showing some rust and wear but the Briggs engine is going good as new and starts on first pull ... with a clean air filter. That said, I sure do love LOVE the grab and go convenience of my new Kobalt 80V mower. Model KM 5080-06 just came out this spring and much improved over previous Kobalt 80V mower offerings. The Craftsman is relegated to mulching up small limbs twigs and leaves where I need the torque of a gas burner ... and the Cub Cadet comes in handy too ...

Oh, and the old Craftsman ...

... and just for grins and giggles, showing off my S.h.i.t.e. Shirt beside my old Snapper. After 25 years, it was still running pretty good when I gave it to a neighbor a few years ago. Dang Snapper would cut it if it could run over it and when adjusted, that dang Snapper could CLIMB !!! Had an old L-head 12hp Signature series B&S.

EDIT: Someone told me if I want something that'll last 35 years, get a Toro. Heck, in 35 years I'll be 101 !!! ... I just want worry free convenient and fun.

Back in the early 80s, and friend of mine (10-15 years old) knew that I was heavily into Carl Palmer, Ringo, Bonzo, Peart... (and others). He said, "Check out Buddy Rich. Trust me. He's jazz, but you'll like him."

    He was SO correct.

Watching Peart sit in with the band, I thought, "You know, I think Buddy might actually be okay with this one."

There probably weren't many that could fill those pedals (so to speak), but I think Neil did well.

You ask me and most brands of 2-cycle yard equipment is crap. The cadillac stuff that is higher priced is good like Stihl and Echo. Worth paying extra for that equipment. Of the rest, Husqvarna is pretty good. Craftsman used to make decent stuff but they went to crap over the last 15-20 years. I’ll never waste another penny on their junk. Just replaced the carb on my 10 year old Craftsman wacker. Thing never ran right. Just replaced carb on 20 year old Craftsman chainsaw too (made by Poulan). It’s lasted but there is nothing more finicky than a chainsaw.

Neil would have been a big band drummer in another life. The dude can play.
