vape mail brought me 2 Ehpro True RTAs.
1st build and 10 minutes into it ... LEAK !!!
Provari Classic had a hot bath and will now dry out for a couple of days.
No idea why the leak. Disgustingly removed the tank and it's laying in the sink for now.
Went here Calling all Dog lovers - The Ehpro True MTL RTA and page searched all 22 pages for "leak".
Will try to sort it out later. Enjoying a trouble free and satisfying vape experience with a Doggy and Dvarw for now.

I'd already read through Calling all Dog lovers - The Ehpro True MTL RTA and found that several had leak issues before the True even arrived, and was careful on this first build to try and avoid issues. I'd also watched several YouTube reviews of the True. Have gone back and read more carefully and will revisit the True maybe later tonight. To put it mildly, I'm disappointed with the True so far. Had a beautiful build in it, no idea yet why it leaked.

Strike 2.

Completely disassembled and inspected. Carefully put it all back together, rewicked and ... LEAK !!!
Maybe my wicking. This time, I used more cotton and tighter in the coil than I usually do. One more time and will play with the wicking a bit more to get it as precise as I can. Was a perfect build the first time though.

At the end of the day, EVEN IF I get this thing to stop leaking, the airflow is more restrictive than optimal for my preferred restricted direct lung vape. The largest airflow hole on the True is 1.8mm and my ideal is 2mm. I'd say the True is about like using an Aspire Nautilus on the largest airflow opening, which is also 1.8mm. So if you like the Nautilus but need an RTA, the True might be worth a look ... if it doesn't leak on ya.

I'll give this tank one more try. Then of course, I have one other True to try. If need be, I'll give the second atomizer one (1) shot. If all tries leak ... THEN ... my fault, their fault, your fault, nobodies fault ... the True is outta hea. Too much joy in using the Doggie and Dvarw to deal with this beautiful piece of crap.

EDIT: Rewatched YouTube videos and read (looked at the pictures) in the little booklet that came with it before trying the second time too.

Maybe the third times a charm. So far so good ... well, not leaking yet. Still early though. I used slightly less cotton wicking than I usually do and I used an atomizer wrench to really torque the thing together as tight as possible.

Thinking maybe somehow an o-ring issue. The atomizers off the slow boat generally don't have the highest quality o-rings and they've been stored installed dry in atomizers for who knows how long and under what conditions.

I've got the second True atomizer together and no leaks so far and vapes smoother on first build. Just something about that first atomizer I think. Got to be an o-ring or something. I want to like this atomizer. I'm trying REALLY hard to like this atomizer.

I'm assuming by the looks of your Provaris, you don't use them much. ;)
I'm easy on them. They aren't beaters nor need be. (Most) All the scratches are on the battery caps. Occasionally I'll accidentally tip one over and break a tank glass. Hate it when that happens.

EDIT: Hardest thing I've done today is look around from the Amtrak view

And this disheveled little neighborhood hooligan, wanted to know what I was doing?
She has 3 sisters and all 4 are hooligans and in cahoots.
