Ouch, Enaud. That hurt me just reading it. Glad you are ok.
Nah. You're never posting too much.Okay ... since I'm posting too much. Sharing too much. This isn't facebook y'all ... I just feel comfortable with yous guys, enjoy the banter and hope to entertain a bit in my own way I guess ... last pics of the night. Can't have the goatskin pillows on the the sofa unless I'm in the room. Mason (the boy dog) might/will chew them up. Both prints were curb finds (different curbs). Recently found the Charles Wysocki "Young Gentleman" (with poodle I think). It isn't hanging because I think I'll toss it too. Not my style and can't find a place for it. "Evening Serenade" by Kinuko Y. Craft isn't much my style either but I've exchanged personal emails with the artist, so there's that. In one exchange, Kinuko writes:
Dear Mr. Hobbs,
"Evening Serenade" is a re-titled piece of art I originally created as a book cover for "A Song for the Basilisk," written by Particia A. McKillip in 1997. Hope this helps--and glad you like it!
Very best wishes,
Kinuko
Wysocki (died 2002) actually also did "Young Gentlewoman" but this is the only one I have. If I had both ... I'd prolly toss them out together I suppose.

... and I also found this platoon pic on the curb. It's a long shot but I've posted it on "my" veteran's forum to see if anyone from Platoon 2 FT Dix NJ APR 16 1981 would like to have it. Lots of comments but no takers yet. Hooah !!!

Found on curb of older home, down the street and around the corner. An elderly couple did live their. From a distance, I saw them and visitors from time to time over the last dozen years or so, but never met them. They're gone now, either passed away or in a care facility. The house is being cleared out.
There were a couple of boxes of framed family photos, some going all the way back to what appeared to be the late 1800's. There were several military pictures, both Army and Navy but most were individual random military pictures. This was the only one that was a formation group shot. My guess is that maybe their son is in it or maybe a (former?) son in law. I just don't know. All I know is if it meant something to family members cleaning the house out, they wouldn't have put it on the curb. I live in the oldest neighborhood in town and find mostly useless but maybe interesting stuff while out walking around from time to time.

I sure wish someone would snap up that GMZ with the beveled cap. I've only got one of those, and I'm sorry but I much prefer them to the P3 caps. The P3 ones are much more finicky for me, and if I could turn back the clock, I'd never have sent the ones that I did in for the "upgrade".
Lessons learned.

Then he'd best bring me a bigger house because squeezing even one more mod in will tip this one over.
C'mon @corn flakes . A mere $85 and you've got yourself a full team for a little 4 on 4.
Gotta say, I'm liking the Zlide. I think, so far, the flavor (.48 coil) is better than the Kabuki/Aspire. Hope I'm wrong, since if right, I'll have to figure out what to do with my Kabukis. Anyone else tried it?
Thanx rose, how I feel in the morning will be the real test. Not the first time I've been bloodied and bruised having fun.Ouch, Enaud. That hurt me just reading it. Glad you are ok.
Okay ... since I'm posting too much. Sharing too much.
