Well about 3 1/2 years ago, I had a ECF member contact me about buying a mod from him. He based that on my interest of a similar devise. I agreed and made the deal. When the transaction was complete, he said oh yeah you have to keep it secret, that I sold this to you, I agreed.

Then this weekend I asked in the devises thread what they would do, the seller had not been back in 2 years. based on what they said I agreed that I should honor the agreement. Then the guy that made the devise said I should give them a hint, so I did. I guess based on what I had already told them and the one hint, they guessed which one that I had. I was really surprised that they figured it out that quickly.:?:

So anyway the cat is out of the bag so to speak, and here it the devise I bought so long ago.

The Li'l Pinch by pdib :)

Yes it is a Squonker, I thought I should show you guys as well.
This is the very best, and most beautiful mod that I own. :)

I'll opt out of the boyz klub on that hairy dog one, but @Hobbs, I surely loved the Sly musical montage.

I saw them back then, and it remains one of my top 5 concerts ever. Amazing energy, great horn section and massive rythm section. The Family almost took the roof off the place.

Of course, that amazing energy probably came from being an hour and a half late in taking the stage. Almost walked out, glad I didn't. I still remember Sly stomping around in some sort of wooly leggings/chaps sort of things that made him look like a Yeti from the waist down.

That's a real beauty KAS !!! I don't know anything about squonkers but that looks like a mech too. Are most squonkers non-regulated?

Yeah it is a Mech, the only one that I have, that does not have any kind of a safety devise in it. I also have some REO's but they have a safety spring. The old ones are mostly Mech's, but now days there are a lot of regulated Squonkers all over the place. I never did ever get a regulated one, but I would like to. :|

So, can you use protected batteries in the mechs for some measure of safety or do you still have to use unprotected batteries like we use in our regulated devices?

'
Come on Bronze, reading comphrension please. I just stated I shouldn't start a gripe fest and like WHEN have you ever even KNOWN me to admit such an act was even possible?

Unless you like witchy women (hey we are a fun breed, sometimes) then it might be worse. I think I might need a GALLON of Valium every day to never complain, I'm just well....

EDGING A LITTLE MORE TOWARD GREATNESS!!!! LOL and hungry, I really need to eat.

I literally cannot believe how much I got done this weekend it was insane.

I do not even care if I get to bed a bit late but I have eggplant parmagan awaiting me.'

As far as I know you can use protected batteries, (although I have not been) I have never had any issues with it. (knock on wood) The issue of course would be a short, this mod does not leave my house, and I am very careful with it. The REO's on the other hand have that spring, that will collapse with a short. From what I understand you can use a protected battery, in anything that it will fit into, but protected batteries sometimes just seem weak to me. :|

Honestly, I think if Steel could jump off a bridge right now, he would.
I haven't been here in ages but happened to see the cones. As some of you know I worked in the vetetinary profession for maaaany years. None of our patients liked the opaque cones. They're like a tunnel. I don't understand why vets still use them when the altetnatives are so much better. The clear cones don't seem to bother dogs as much and they can be trimmed down…just be careful to not trim so much the dog can reach the area the cone is supposed to protect.

The alternative that we suggested to many of our clients is the donut (link below). Most dogs adjust to it very quickly. Definitely the favorite for them and the owners. But one has to be careful to buy one big enough that the dog can't reach the area.

My "Little Orphan Annie", just before she came into our home, 2+ years ago now. She still wiggles that .... every time she sees another human or dog that she likes, which is pretty much ALL of the time. <3

Does this help?

Having first enjoyed PBusardo as a new vaper, I grew tired of his verbosity, however, whilst searching for information on protected/unprotected and Mooch, I came across this page on TasteMyJuice. So far as I have read it doesn't answer the question but it may be of interest.

could you please post the photo here. Google photos is not allowing me to see it, probably because I don't have an account with it.

If you can't…no sweat. I can read the love you have for her from your post.:)

Since ordering the red/black ProVari Classic from Central Iowa Vapors this past weekend ( Search Results for “provari” – Central Iowa Vapor ) ... I've wondered if it was actually in stock or not.

Well, this morning I got an email from CIV stating that my order was "Complete". I was a bit puzzled because there was no tracking number. Had the order shipped, been canceled or something else? .... so I emailed them and this was their response. The X's in the number are mine ...

Hi Hobbs, The email was just letting you know that we have it packed and waiting on FedEx to pick it up. Generally they will send an email after they have picked it up with the tracking number. But I will go ahead and give it to you now. It just won’t track till they pick it up.

The problem with protected batteries is the failure mode.

It is much more violent than is the case with unprotected batteries.

So, it is not a recommended practice.
