Mike, my 22mm is an original and my 24mm is made of Chinaseum. So, apples and oranges maybe. But anyway, airflow is the same on both. Temperature? ... there is a subtle difference. My perception is that the 24mm MAY be cooler. And if so, I think because the larger size is a greater heat sink. However, I vape at such low wattage ... 7W on both ... warmth really isn't a factor.

ETA: I'll get an original 24mm just as soon as they become available again. Soon I hope.

I'm using a 22mm in long mode w/ a 29g Kanthal 1.6Ω coil @10 watts and the coil raised pretty high above the air hole. This is my standard coil setup on all my atty's (except for having the coil higher on the nKFL). It's such a nice combo on a Dani Mini, looks wise. But for me, I get a bit too much TH/warmth from it. I like vaping it but I have to switch off to another setup, it's not an all day vape for me.

(Dare I say it ... for me it's more like taking a drag on a cigarette than any of my other vape setups. So when I'm in the mood for a strong 'hit' it works well.)

I either have to try reducing my wattage or perhaps switch to 30g Kanthal and up the Ωs to around 2. I've been using my 'standard' setup for so long, I guess it's time to experiment a bit with the nKFL to dial it in for my taste. That or pickup a the cheaper version of the 24mm for a test drive and see if I like it better than the 22.

Yep, your setup would be too warm for me to enjoy exclusively. I'm an 8 wrap 30 Kanthal on 2mm @ 1.83 ohms and 7W guy.

ETA: This is the Chinaseum one I got and for your testing purposes, I recommend. https://www.fasttech.com/products/9690302 ... says 2ml capacity, but is more like 3-4ml or whatever the original 24mm capacity is. This clone is a 1:1 and I can find no fault with quality. OH ... and of course you can get a 24mm long mode kit from there too.

Yep, that's the one I was looking at. I've got a mix of OEM and SXK versions of previous Svoe atty's. The SXK are pretty decent. I'll probably try a 7 wrap of 30 Kanthal on a 2.5 ID coil, that should come out around 2Ωs. I don't like squeezing my wicking into a 2mm coil.

I don't think I got a message about a new Saloon post today. Still, it is getting quieter.

Sooo, I got my Augvape Intake late last week and coiled it up. 8.5 wrap of 28g on a 3.0 mandral; about 1.1ohms...my normish. It is really good.

I went for a new bottle of diy peach custard. The peach is just to sweet and so I overdid the custard. I need to find a less sweet peach. I am traveling and can't remember the peach maker. BUt, the flavor was full.

I am getting two more. The wicks go down in the holes and are exposed to the juice. It is like an exposed well. On the Ammit it is a closed well and you have to guess if the wick is at the bottom. Not that hard, but this set-up is better.

Huge airflow but I just shut the air down to the same about as the Ammit. The Intake is easy to coil. 30 clams, very no fuss.

Hope all are well wherever they may be (since they are not here).

Must be summertime...found this in the Saloon jukebox.
