Happy to be... Not Smoking!!!
Francesca., (I will note when I tried to have a second kid with the husband which well, it couldn't happen but yeah while I WAS pregnant I tried to come up with a list of names and I couldn't find one he had not DATED or BANGED. It was horrible. The whole thing really but it started with the names. I was like, "OMG how did you even REMEMBER that many.)

He probably has a list somewhere, like when I found his journal about us during our "dating period" and it caused stress upon me like you would not BELIEVE OMG, and well, I used to be a curious cat, but now if I find something of his, I kind of wrap it in cellophane gingerly and say; put this someplace private you DOLT." I have learned my lessons.

The husband is.... Well, his first "greatest" complement to me was like I was a "brown paper package tied in string around all the shiny, beautiful gifts but when you finally unwrap it, there is this GLORIOUS gift inside." Um, I think you can guess WHICH part of that compliment I FOCUSED on.

In any case, Francesca (and yes my husband has banged you)

I have completely forgotten what I was going to say.

I WILL say you can say whatever you want, because like, the husband has done worse already.

Like, uh, 2 years into our marriage he decided to let me know he loved me so much he was having um, sexual difficulties and I was like TWO YEARS you wait to mention this, TWO YEARS???????????? He was like, "I figured it might get better."

I wondered how, uh, you know he was making things happen but like, he was probably thinking of YOU Francesca. LOL.

He has come a long way as a husband but there sure was a REASON I was the first girl that said yes to his proposal. He was kind of like my crack house I was like GREAT BONES, needs a lot of work.

Thanks a lot though, Francesca.

Oh. When he turned 40 I threw him a surprise birthday party because he had never had one.. He found out and THREW a tantrum. Also, I figured he deserved a stripper, but I wasn't having one in the house so I SPENT A LONG time finding an establishment, learning to walk in the platform shoes (they suck) and like, the husband CRITICIZED my outfit. He said it was the type of outfit a LITTLE girl would pick out, he said it was unsexy and demanded I REMOVE it immediately. I found it, shall we say a BIT insulting. Also, not cheap. You don't get to return stripper outfits I am afraid. It's probably for the best.

He is a total turd actually at times. SO THUNDER AWAY I have TOTAL SHIELDING. LOL

David

Even though I am married, ah, through thick and thin, well I am still a woman stuck in a man's body. I am also gay. The husband is going to LOVE IT!!!!
until you catch him picking up the soap in the shower...

then all bets are off!!!

LOLz

stols001, Vonzell. An entrant's name on American Idol. When we found out the sex during the first pregnancy that it was a girl, we told my mother that would be her name. Massive pleading, begging, and dismay ensued for a solid 6 months. Somewhere in there it was mentioned I had a contest with my friends to name the child, but entries such as 'Mustang Sally', Clitoria, and One, just weren't gonna make the cut. Even after the birth I told her little Vonzell was now born. :D. Caitlin will be 15 this week. ;)

    I am gonna get us out of this cycle by posting some music;

I miss these guys SO MUCH!

Seriously there are so many people that just should not die, like David Foster Wallace, Frank Zappa (he would have a FIELD DAY with Covid)

But yeah, it makes me so sad, especially David Foster Wallace, whom I am SURE was super regretful beyond words but I would have been, " Dude, (yeah I use this word in group, LOL) I also played them the song, "My Name is Human" to get them in touch with their higher powers. Lots of cuss words) BUT every time you change a med, it is is a CRAP SHOOT. What you have now is a total PITA but you are heavily SUICIDAL without it. And it's not like you can JUST return to it without consequences, EVERY med changes your brain and you have NO GUARANTIES do you want to be SUICIDAL until you actually KILL YOURSELF because that CAN and DOES happen and it SUCKS not just for you but your family and kids and the entire literary world. I am sorry about all the stuff you can't eat or drink but we can try EMSAM it's a transdermal patch and even though the FDA refused to approve the higher doses for stupid reasons i.e. they did not want depressed people having like access to an MAOI without side effects so they lied about the clinical trials everyone was on the highest dose, drinking beer, ingesting cold medicine they were fine. Seriously, shove it on and have at it. IF NOT back to DRUG THAT WORKS."

    Sigh.

    Anna

I know these things. I go to the source.

Seriously, it makes me sad. We all gotta go I guess.

I liked that story, Wayneo. It reminded me of how Mrs CMD and I named our daughter. When we learned she was pregnant after nine years of marriage. For various reasons we elected not to do the amniocentesis or to learn the sex. So for the ensuing nine months we referred to our nascent child as 'Bruno". Why, who knows? But it caught on and the family and the friends spoke of Bruno. We had the name picked out for a boy but never really thought Bruno could be a girl.
The time came in the middle of the night, of course, and off we went thirty-five miles to the hospital. We were laughing, as usual, most of the way over until we thought, "What if Bruno is a girl. What will be her name?" We came up with the name on the drive. When I showed her to her mother, "Bruno" became a faint memory. Jennifer was thirty-two this summer and Bruno has been rarely remembered.

Names. :) It was a 100% true story CMD-Ky. We purposely waited 8 years. People were always questioning us about it. Our second, and we also knew she'd be a girl, we told my mother it'd be Rusty. I think she nearly died. My wife knew 1 thing. It should primarily be Irish. She made sure it would be hard to make nicknames at school. We named the second Teagan. Our cat Riley started life as Lucy till the vet noticed his parts. The wife threatened divorce if we didn't change it, although to this day IMHO, cats don't understand human gendered names :D

Yes, that's helpful, thanks for your reply.

when you say the counties have enacted mask requirements, do you mean walking around outside or just within shops?

the bike trail leaving Tampa or St.Pete is supposed to be great.

I do have a hard time with labels like conservative etc. I'll happily let people do their thing if they don't encroach on mine. What does that make me?

Hot and humid? I've never been a real fan of humidity. But, in the middle of winter, coupled with warmth? Maybe nice.

I've only been to Fl twice and both were to Palm Beach on business trips in winter and loved it. Was that the same sort of heat/humidity you were referring to?

Sorry for the late response. Yes, some counties do have walking around requirements. Most stores even where I am have signs posted that masks are required, but I have seen plenty of people shopping without masks. I go out early, to lessen the number of people out.

The humidity in the winter is nice. We have had lower humidity this past week in the 50 - 60% which is nice. No, summer is usually 90+ degrees and 90 - 100% humidity. Being near the coast keeps temps lower, but as you go inland temps go up.

I agree about labels, I just want to do mything and others can do theirs as long as it doesn’t impede what I want to do and I’m good.

Man WV was all aggogle today. I think they are worried. Like Walmart had queues. Not even like um, you know one or two people but these turnstile-ish things that appeared to resemble getting on a roller coaster ride and um, only it wasn't exciting like a roller coaster it was exciting like um, "Can I find some eggs in date?"

I do truly adore this state though, and I mean it in all sincerity. This middle aged mountain woman who had no mask but was showing her "relative-- I have no clue" how to hide under her shirt to avoid the mask requirement, and she was musing about it (it was an odd scene) and I said, "IDK maybe it's because Trump is in the hospital or something?"

She began cackling and said, "TRUMP-- He's gonna get SHOT!" But it was like the authority with which she said it... She KNEW!

I almost asked her for a couple evil eyes but I am trying to stay nice and kind and I am waking up at 4 am tomorrow to do yoga. All that can be made ready is being made ready to like, make it so, including the husband driving me to work because it is a new traffic pattern AND ALSO I don't want to be bussed into work QUITE yet.

    Anna

I don't even want to leave. I don't like fake people like Portland and CA and well, some of my family members honestly and WV-- IT is indeed WHAT it is. LOL.
