Am off to Colorado at the end of the week. Packing is a crock. Last day training/orientation in D.C. is Tuesday. Finishing that, finishing with the movers, and completing house cleaning are stressful.

I purged a bunch of vaping gear. The movers charge to much for things that are extra.

Going to be a long week.

For the first time in like 20 years, I got to do a bit of work from home stuff. I have been put in charge, of entering all of the tooling owned by the company that bought our company, into our tool tracking system. Their tool tracking program is a cluster :censored:. For the last 20 years, I have organized our system in a alphabetical numerical order, which they now want me to do to theirs. It is going to be a hell of a lot of work, their tracking system is a product by Milwaukee, that is a piece of :censored:.
When I first started working on it, I did not have access to their program, and started hand writing down all the tool details, starting with the tool ID number. It is a PIA, I got access to the program last Monday. When you search for the ID number in the program, the search has Zero results. I had over 100 pages of tools to look up the details on, and it took forever to find them. The guy that put me in charge of this thought this was going to take around a week to do all of this, he is a More-on. I just needed to rant a bit.

Thanks, I feel better now :)
