Understood. I got over the touchy feely bit when I learned I could get a whole big Sam's stock up trip out of the way in less than 10 minutes. I get a meat CSA from a local farmer, they haven't required masks to pick up my monthly share. As much as I would love to eat just meat, we need other stuff too, so I do the curbside thing for groceries. As for anything else, if you won't let me in your store, I can live without you, you don't get my money. I won't go back after normalcy returns either, provided our overlords permit it. Hopefully, they will have been overthrown, but not holding my breath.

As far as other people go, I've always been antisocial, I can live without them too. If this past year has taught us anything, it's who our TRUE friends are.

Good luck!
Where do you live @ceejay ?

The super market I usually shop at, which is a small chain and locally owned, didn't require masks until the gov mandated it. I appreciated that, and didn't wear one until the gov forced me. I won't give them a hard time, since it wasn't their fault.

I see anti social tendencies as a good thing ;) people pretty much suck for the most part...in groups they are downright scary.
Maybe. But, I have a small group which is friendly and convivial. There's me and my blue Radius and my black Radius...

So glad I have many thousands of "freedom seeds" stashed away...hope I never need to "plant" them :D
I gave you a "like" because I like you and I think we're a lot alike, but I have no idea what those seeds are. You don't have to tell me, since my "like" is given and not to be rescinded.

Ashamed to admit it, but I'm in Ohio.

I don't give anybody a hard time, I just won't shop there! I know the businesses have been put in a rough spot, but the governor's mandates are not laws. The only way out of this is noncompliance.

At first I thought the thing in front of it was a portable toilet, I was like how nice "Santa can deposit his gifts AND drink his milk."

It is a cute tree however, I'm not sure if it its indoors or outdoors exactly.

To be honest, this is one of the more confusing pictures I have seen today.

Nothing to be ashamed about.
I agree about the noncompliance.
It's begun everywhere, either with demonstrations or folks just not following the mandates. And, yes you're quite right about the diff between mandates and laws. But, it's easy for legislatures to pass the buck.
I do believe that the politicians are terrified about being blamed for tabulated mortality, that they are willing to ignore the deep damage they have done to the economy and to people's overall mental and physical wellbeing.

I walked into a quick-stop store today. There were no other customers and the two attendants immediately asked me if I had a mask. I have a mask in my car and just forgot it.

I know that I am putting their license in jeopardy, or maybe just a citation, so I don't mind wearing a mask. I don't control the business and I just see it as a requirement in order to shop there.

I chastise myself (figuratively speaking) for always forgetting. I don't mind being supportive, seeing as I want something from them (shopping).

On a slightly different thought...I would not be surprised if masks become more of a norm a couple of years down the road. A viral pandemic can be very crippling and nation-states may see that as a way to achieve retribution.

Great video! It really takes you back to the raw shows of the time.

I did have a few really great reunion shows they did, they were the best I had ever seen of Steppenwolf, they were deleted. I had to look for a bit, to find this one. I wish they wouldn't do that, I go back to watch them again, and they are just gone. :grr:

Oh yeah! I might be able to post some Doobie Brothers on Saturday as well. :)
