My favourite times were the folks who had never tried a ProVari and were constantly calling out the ProVarinati on them saying the ProVari had this smooth vape draw that other vapes didn't have... the ProVari really did have that extra smooth draw though.

I remember one "Critter" (I wonder if THAT tick any memories) who would literally jump into EVERY Provi thread to argue his case. He was one that you described above.

I wonder what ever became of him. It doesn't always work out so well for critters, so I do hope all is fine.

The Lavatube dudes were relentless

My first VV mod was a Lavatube, I can never forget that first time I put a Vivi Nova on top of it and got a scortched dry hit, coughed for minutes and coud not get rid of the horrible taste. Then I got a MVP 2, that one was actually OK, and the Protank 2's had come along. About nine months into vaping I finally got a Provi, and never looked back. I was running the PT2's, and would pull the silica an wick them with cotton yarn, I'd get two tanks before they needed re-wicking so I ran three or four tanks in rotation, and kept them in an Altoids tin. Every night I would re-fill/re-wick the coils so the next day I'd be ready to go.

Still got all them PT2's in the stash, and a couple hundred coils and some res/ ne res wires to rebuild the coils. Don't know if I'll ever need to go that deep into the stash, hope not I'd probably go back to using a REO first or just using a dripper...
