Yep, I’d rather get blown out and say we sucked than to live the rest of my life saying coulda shoulda woulda.

I am the opposite, probably because I lost so much. If all my losses were blowouts instead of nail biters then I would be known as the worst of all time, the 'WOAT'.

So, I ordered a pizza the other night... thought I would go with the create your own to finish off 2020.

Started with double cheese... checked out and about 45 minutes later, what I'll call, cheese bread crust arrived.

no sauce, no pepperoni, no toppings at all... yup, I ordered a large cheese bread crust and even had it delivered

so 2020 that pizza was

Everyone raves about the Molicels, JUMA, but I can't speak to them personally. I'm still using the Orbtronics that I've been using forever.

These are the button-tops but they have both (flat & button).

Liion Wholesale Button Top Molicel INR-18650-P26A 35A 2600mAh Button Top 18650 Battery

I have four 18650 LGs done up like this... I believe they're flat top with clear re-wrap over a button spacer on top.

When I do get to using them up, I'm removing and saving the button tops to re-wrap new flat tops if I have to.

I'm pretty sure, this is exactly what's going on here

You're probably right. I use LGs and the Orbs in P3 (etc), but just Orbs in the 2x's.

Obviously, I guess.

I agree with you and DP. I have some button top 25R batteries that have obviously had an adapter and clear wrap added but don't remember where I ran across them.

My biggest issue is that for pocket carry I prefer the shorter 18350 or 18490/18500 configs. And to the best of my knowledge, good versions of those no longer exist. I wore out my AW350s, bought as many aspire 350s as I could manage and they're on their last legs too. Mooch finally followed up with 350 testing and listed a couple of models but they are all rewrap companies. I've not had good luck with those bought since the testing so the cells they're using are probably not the same quality he tested.

As for Molicel 18650s, I think they're good batteries. I'm pretty sure I remember Mooch stating that Molicel had their own factory. From non-scientific testing of how long they seem to last, and how much mAH they accept during charging I'd rate them even (maybe a hair below) HG2 and just a bit below VTC6.

This is all way more complicated than ideal, because my VTC batteries I use as a standard were made before Sony sold the company to Murata. I have no idea if the new owners are holding the specs to the same levels that Sony did.

yeah, Sony probably saw a few videos of cloud chasers vaping with towels wrapped around their hands... then said, ahhh, yeah, we need to stop making these batteries

This Bowl season has had a lot a folks who are extra violent between plays. I did not enjoy the UK game but it was not as bad as the Mississippi State game.

The Lavatubes went to a low frequency pulse width modulation that burnt the hell out of everything. Dumbest technology for an ecig. Provaris also used pulse width modulation but it was at a very high frequency. Big difference. And that’s what set the Provari apart.

I wont bore you with why, but I tried a silica wick a couple years ago. OMG it was horrible. Cannot believe we used that stuff. Yuck!
Hey @Bronze go ahead and bore me. LOL.
It's been quite a while since I used silica. (Couple of years I'd guess.) But, I used it, as most did, with mech mods and Sophia attys. And I recall thinking it transmitted flavor very well.

another thing, made in the USA... little did people know pre-pandemic, how important made in USA was going to become.

wonder how many PloVari are still vaping?

Humor aside, the question about how many Provari (versus Plovari) are still being vaped is interesting.
I'm not sure how many were produced. I'd be very curious.
I do know that none of mine have crapped out.
I recall very well asking myself if I wanted to spend $200 on a mod, being a Radius. That was 5 years ago. Still going strong, happy in the hand (no pun intended), and feels tough as nails. I've certainly bought other stuff since then, but they mostly feel cheap and flimsy. [I have not gotten anything fancy like Dani's etc.]
