It was the fall of '74 when I first listened to this tune, part of one of those promo collections albums labels used to put out. I must have played it a dozen times in a row, such potent rock.
Fast forward 50 years and tonight was the first time I listened to the alternative version. Mighty fine as well.
It seems I most always prefer a band's early work.
