I probably sound like a broken record, but I am not getting any 20700 batteries. My chargers won't accept them and I can get 3000mAh from my LG 18650 batteries. At the resistance I'm vaping, I don't need a higher CDR - so it would be an unnecessary expense, especially when ALL of my mods accept 18650 batteries.

Of course, if someone offers a true 5000 or 6000 mAh 20700 battery, I might be singing a different tune.

Finally arrived.
My first mech hit. Fresh VTC 5A, 26/36 N80 Tri core fused Clapton @ .18

Probably going to change that coil.

Still fires when in any of the positions shown in the pics

Nothing seems out of place and those pics seem to match what my Pulse Switch look like.

I have not seen your issue.

Have you tried firing the mod with in the dark with the doors off to see if you can see any arching?

Heated the RDA a little, not too bad. Got used to it. Definitely different than regulated.

Not sure how I feel about it yet.

Congrats! The Pulse was my first mech too and it's with me all the time. I just had to get used to remembering to keep an extra battery with me.

Is there a gap here?...can you slip a piece of paper in there? If not - it's shorted, which isn't necessarily dangerous, but your mod will be "live" all the time.

Good eyes! That could certainly be the culprit. It does appear to be touching, but that could just be the photo. Still, makes sense -- it would complete the circuit even if the disconnect bar is in the disconnected position.

Well, the circuit is being closed somehow - that looked awfully close. If that isn't it, I'm stumped. Hard to tell without having the mod in hand.

Wanted to let anyone who was wondering know that the Pulse is pretty darned durable. I dropped mine this morning from between 3-4' on asphalt and it didn't even scratch it. It had an 18650 and a full bottle inside and the only thing that happened was both doors popped off. I checked the battery and all is good. This is a tough little piece of plastic.
