nice!

By the way ive been using the same shred for 6 days now without cleaning it @ all and its still acting as if it were brand new, taking 8-12 drops on refill. And never creating a vacuum inside the cart.

Having the strands allows air to move freely, which aides in wicking and filling.
I do recommend either laying the device flat or battery verticle when not in use.

Also since ive been doing this I no longer need to blow out the mouth piece and wipe.

I don't plan on cleaning if a filler can last a week or more. I will just make carts for different flavors and keep refilling until they won't take 8-10 drops on refill. Then I'll toss it and make another. I loaded up a few carts this way for my wife and she is very happy since she doesn't have to top off all the time. Great mod.

Good one here. So far the best cart mod involving a PTB. I've tried the others and this one works beautifully with no mess. Sweet times again.

oh,...I used one entire pyramid tea bag to fill the cart.

Also, and this has been mentioned over and over again on this forum (but I never seemed to get it into my thick skull), do not overfill the cart. Very important. For me, I would wait until I saw a puddle forming at the top and then I'd stop, wipe or pat down with tissue and then vape. Bad idea and I'd either flood the atty or get juice in the mouth. I've learned to stop before the puddle forms (for me about 10-11 drops in a 510 cart). Clean the sides of the cart, align, insert and vape.

Now if I could just have world peace ... (and the keys to the House of Pies)... :p

glad you like my idea. I also never put more than 10-11 drops in a cart.

once it pools especially w/ the PTB ur askin for trouble.

Btw, im still on the same filling for 7 days, about once every 4 days i remove the shred and squeeze it into a paper towel, it comes completely clean. I think that amber colored stuff that builds up over time is sh*t that cant be vaporized, and it slows the wicking down a bit.

There is another brand of tea that uses the infusion bags. It's called (R)evolution. The bags aren't in a pyramid shape, more like the traditional rectangular shape and they are more expensive than Lipton, about twice the price, and I guess they would be ranked as a high end product. Again, not all stores carry this.

I looked all over for the PTB and could not find them. I spent about 20 minutes analyzing every tea bag in the local Harris Teeter and found the (R)evoultion teas. It cost me $3.99 for 16 pack. I've been vaping off the first bag tonight (following the standard PTB directions) with great success on my 510. The tea is of a very high quality, too. I drink it regularly so win, win...

This is great advice. All the folks bragging about 16-20 drops per are just flooding their atts. Sometimes less IS more, IMHO.

I was only able to find the Revolution PTBs as well. Not as lucky with the price... $7 for 15 "Flow-Through Pyramid Infusers"
I rolled, frayed and stuffed pretty much the whole thing in my 510 cart (then cut the ends.)
I also put in a tiny tube (from a cat5 cable) in an attempt to increase airflow (considering it was pretty packed in there).
It seems to be working well. I also like the cylinder tin that the tea came in. Im able to store my syringe and droppers.

thanks for the mod to the mod. hehe

The reason i dont use the entire bag is due to airflow. having space in the cart is very important. If u follow my method exactly, you can drip in the cart as fast as u can w/ no resistance.

im over a week in using the same PTB its still working as good as new..
keep in mind; i have squeezed it in a paper towel a few times to get rid of the unvaporizable crud... i've tried some of the mods to this shred mod that people have done, and they do not work very well. Using the entire teabag is total crap and makes it near impossible to fill and it doesnt wick it dry. Leaving the bottom solid as opposed to frayed, works okay, but it slows wicking down a bit and never uses the juice in the soild part.

I've been using some PTB for over 3 weeks now
I wash them out every other day.
I fold/roll mine up kind of tight making a "natural" straw mod of the ends.
I don't fray them.
