I haven't had it for very long (OK, a few days) but if you're looking for something small, the new Aspire Plato will give you 50W VV/W and TC. No idea how it will wear over time, but out of the box it feels like a solid, well made product. It's got a nice feeling aluminum case, and so far, as a MTL user, really great performance. I've seen it can make nice clouds, especially given its size, but it's not a heavy hitter compared to higher powered mods. Then again, it's only a single battery mod.

Drawbacks are it is a side by side design and limits you to Aspire's coils. Any of the Nautilus or Triton mini coils will fit, along with a proprietary 0.4 ohm coil made to fit only this box. I know some folks have played around with an RBA for Nautilus and got it to fit, but it's not an "experimenter's" dream. The tank is a little odd, but easy to fill and clean. And of course, no way to experiment with different tanks. But it looks and feels great, so if you're thinking of something to carry around, you might want to take a look.

It's not a Provari or Vapor Shark, but it's a lot more affordable and feels like a quality mod that would cost more.

I have 2 Kbox mini's. Been using one since last November Nary a glitch, love it.

I've had mine since November too. No problems at all...just the paint wearing out, but I have a sleeve for that.

I had an istick 20w well over a year ago whose threads stripped after about four months of use and I never over tightened it. Also had an istick 50w that after a couple months would turn off and only come back on if it was plugged in. A real shame. As much as I would like to get a pico I decided against it

Right now for low wattage I am rocking an old school zmax v3 with a v5 on the way. I know you can't subohm on them, but that is what my kbox mini is for.

Well Sigelei's name was synonymous with a quality mod, they 100/150w/30w/50w were all quite good and all worked well. They have dropped the ball and now fall into the average category. I actually feel that IPV is now starting to feel the void of a quality affordable mod with the release of the D2/D3/IPV5. That could change but at this moment for a good mod I would look at the IPV.

A note on the Coolfire 4. I just added a Coolfire 4 with a replaceable 18650 battery to my small collection. Nice size, same feature set as the regular CF4 (I think), but the replaceable battery was the selling point for me versus the Coolfires with built in batteries (actually, any mod with a non-replaceable battery).

Yep, me too, although I don't find the battery life to be as good as any of my "non TC" mods.

I'm a low watt MTL user, so getting a full day or more is pretty easy with all my mods. I also have a Pico which performs well, but you're limited to a 22 mm tank, and I wanted something else that would allow a larger tank. I also have large hands, so both feel small to me. :)

If you want longevity, safety, quality manufacturing, and they have a wattage range that suits you, bite the bullet and get a Provari. Between the wife and I we have 6 of them, and a new 2.5 in the drawer. They just work.
I've had the cheaper vv/vw mods and none of them lasted very long, and I just don't feel comfortable with one of them next to my face.
Ok, I'm done, for vv/vw just call me a Provari fan boy. :)
