Based on what I've been reading in this forum, I decided to go with a Joye 510-t. Parts arrived today and I'm experiencing some known issues such as leaking tank and reduced flavor/vapor, but I wanted a portable kit that supports 510 accessories. With that said, I'm much more content coming from blu and very eager to try some flavors :)

I ordered 340mah 510 XL batteries and was wondering if the Boge 2.0 cartos would provide a better overall experience without taking away too much from battery life. I was an ultra-light smoker, so I just need a bit more vapor/punch to feel satisfied. Still smoking about 1 paper cig every other day or so - haven't found the right e-cig solution quite yet.

The Riva 510, ePower, and eGo batteries look pretty big and seem like they would be awkward to use, but, if that's what I really need to do to get the punch I'm looking for, I'm all ears.

The ego mega batteries work well for me. I vape fairly heavy and they last me all day and a little more. I have used Lr atty's and carto's and dual coil cartos and tanks on them with no problems and you can use anything for a 510 thread on them. They are about the size of a sharpie permanent marker (just a little shorter) with the cap off, and about the same size around. Here is a link to check them out. The price is $17.95 and shipping is about $3.00 and they are genuine joyetech. LINK They also have a VV ego that I use also and at its highest setting it packs a pretty good hit. I believe it is $24.00.

Congrats on dropping the Blu! I hated mine, and I was smoking a gas station e-cig at the time.

Good thing about any of the 510 system (eGo has a 510 thread) is if you run out of juice you can use a Blu cartridge if till the mail man comes with your juice.

The eGo battery is bigger but you get used to it pretty fast (I went from a cigarette sized unit to the eGo). Also the eGo has a button you have to press to fire it up. That takes getting used to also. Once in a while I still forget to press the button.

The size and having a manual battery is something (at least I did) get used to pretty fast.

And as for still smoking the analogs. You've cut back and that is what matters. One day you'll realize you haven't had an analog for a week. I know the last time I had one it tasted like a yak poop sandwich :)

There are other things in analogs that your body is addicted to as well as the nicotine. So you still might get a craving but at least it is easier to fight the craving if you have your PV around.

Boge2.0s are too low a resistance for your batts, a 2.5-3ohm is more in line with your batts...try a pk of them OR, forget the slimline batts and get a set of Riva batts and some LR gear...the Riva batts are actually shorter than the XL and about 50% fatter...they really are easy to use and not too long or "clumsy" looking............

After about 1/2 tank, it started producing more, but still lacking. Thanks for the advice. This forum is great.

I found some 2.5 cartos that I'll try on the 510-t. BUT I decided to bite-the-bullet and get an ego 650mah kit. With that, I ordered a few different cartos (1.5 to 2.0) and a dual-coil to see how they feel.

I read madjack's post a little too late, but the two seem comparable. Would've saved me a few bucks but hopefully this will be the last purchase for now.

It seems that the Boge 2.0 are what most are recommending. I got a 5-pack of those but singles for the rest. I think I'll be satisfied with the 510-t w/cartos for work - the stock tanks really don't last (2-3 cig feel), the leak is annoying but not consistent, and I don't want to constantly have to refill.

Although my hands smell nice and sweet. Seems to be a good thing for the wife. She's supporting this form of nicotine delivery, mainly so she can smell all the nice flavors :) 15 years is too long to smell like an ashtray.

I came to a Joye Ego-T Mega after using Blu. I still use the Blu as a backup and when I need to have something discreetly sized. I didn't know about the tank issue and now I'm tinkering around with some alternatives. I don't know how Mega compares to a regular 510 so I can't offer suggestions. Good luck!

Why is that? Lower is more difficult? I just bought 2 different types of cartos: eGo Mega DUal Coil Cartos, at 1.6 ohms and Clear eGo Mega dual coil cartos, which are also 1.6. Since they said "Ego Mega" I figured I couldn't go wrong, since that's what I have. Should I be worried?

Be careful using 1.5ohm cartos on an eGo. They put a lot of stress on the eGo MOSFET and will fry your eGo if your not careful. Like everyone else said, it you want a LR carto for the eGo I'd use the Boge 2.0ohm. They work very well
