I got a bunch of packets of foam precut from a vendor when ordering a kit, first i washed them all out and squeezed dry and let them sit overnight on a towel before inserting. I filled two carts and it worked like magic a nice vape all day long, but the next day hit on one and hardly anything at all and the juice was leaking into my mouth and the atty flooded a bit. Note all of the 510's are left horizontal allways.

So the foam seemed to fit perfectly but had to put the top down a little bit because it was protruding a touch. Then the next when finding the vape was hardly there i pulled the cart out and the foam was like halfway down the cart and had to pull it up level again. Is it to loosely packed or do I have to cut a second piece for the top and stuff it in or add polyfil on top?

Nothing was burned it just kind of sank down and checked it before to make sure it was all the way to the bottom before.

Once it was pulled up back to it's spingyness it worked just fine again but i don't know why it would sink like that, too much juice? Not packed tight enough? And yes it did go to the bottom the first time and double checked to make sure.

I've never used the blue foam as a full cart filler as you describe. I've tried all the various "plug" and "slug" mods that eclipse has posted on his thread and am currently using a straw (see kristin's thread) with a rectangle piece of foam slightly larger than the opening as a "plug." Most days are good, others...not so much.

I would suggest you just play around with different methods - check out the aforementioned threads - until you find one that works for you. Sure beats the standard cart filler.
