Question for veteran mixers about dry vapes :

I finally got an 555 mix to the point where it's great to my taste. The only problem is, it's as dry as the Sahara. No matter whether I use a cart, clearo or rba dripper, dry as a bone. Does anyone know if AP might cause the dryness? My mix is 50/50 8 mg. DK Vapure, AP, Caramel and Peanut. More importantly, how can I fix it?

Vapure and peanut are dry.

This may sound odd, but I'd mix 30ml of it and place it into 3 bottles.

First bottle I would add one drop of FA's VW.
Second bottle I would add one drop of apple cider vinegar.
Third bottle I would add one drop, or 0.01-0.02ml of 10% EM (cotton candy flavoring).

Shake all and do a hot tap water bath then test on your RA dripper. If any of those helps a tiny bit, but not enough, go back and add a tiny bit more. The smaller the amount you can control going in the first time, the better the chance these can help without warping the taste you currently have.

Be sure to let us know if any of that works. I have a devil of a time with the dryness of peanut myself, but I haven't gotten a recipe, with peanut, close enough worry about it yet.

Well, out of the three the EM helped a bit but added a sweetness to it I don't want as it masks the tobacco flavor. Guess I'll just have to drink lots of water because I'm not giving up my 555.

Dang, I would have put money on VW helping out.

Disappointing results, but I have classified you as EM sensitive in my head now so there some kind of progress even if it doesn't help anyone. (I don't get anything sweet out of doses that low.)

How about trying some Marshmallow? I EM dulls the flavors a bit...worth a shot before you give up

Too sweet for me. I put some in an EVOD I just got and it's better. Next I'm going to switch out the DK for a 555 concentrate to see how that works. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Boomerdud--I have a bottle of 50% lemon juice and 50% PGA that I mixed up and filtered. Two drops per 5ml seems to help with the dreaded 'dry mouth feel'. I mix mostly fruits, so I'm not sure how much it might affect the flavor of a tobacco.

Hmnn......... I've used lemon juice strait up out of the plastic lemon but not diluted. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the tip.
