Question on my setup

I have been vaping for a few months and recently got into mods. I purchased a Tesla and found out it was too big for everyday use so I purchased a smok Zmax Mini. I currently use a Kanger Protank 2.

Question: Why do the hits seem better on my Tesla when at 4.3 watts than they do on my Zmax at 4.0w or 4.5w? What is a good setting for the Zmax while using a Kanger Protank?

It depends on the resistance of your heads. Either way, you should turn the wattage to what works for you. That is not uncommon for 2 apvs to be different at the same power. It just depends on the circuitry.

While the Tesla is huge, i love it. I only use it at home because of the size. Its an amazing device though. I like it better and use it more than my provari. The 3 buttons make it so simple to change settings and check your resistance. It hits hard too.

Are you sure it isn't that your Tesla is at 4.3 VOLTS and the zmax is at 4.3 WATTS. There is a big diff. 4.3 watts is low.

Maybe the difference is the airflow?

My protank hits too airy on my MVP with the included mvp beauty ring because it has extra air holes. Using the protank ring works much better.

No they are both watts. However the xmax only does increments of 0.5 unlike the Telsa, 0.1

I use an air flow controller with the Protank II and find that it really helps me to dial in my vape. I prefer a harder/tighter draw and wasn't crazy about the original protank until someone here recommended the AFC. After that, it became my favorite Clearo. The PT II with an AFC is the best clearo on the market, imho, at present. I pretty much use carto/tanks most of the time now, but really enjoyed the Kangers for the better part of a year, before switching to Boges and Phiniacs. Good luck in your VapeQuest!
