When we use 'muted' surely we are talking about the device not the liquid.
The liquid can have plenty flavour but if say, the wicking is too tight, flavour can be muted.

In my experience the "muting" of flavor is often caused by to little or too much air flow. So in that sense it is more like an internal combustion engine. So maybe we could use "rich" and "lean". Again I am not sure how many people would understand those terms in that context either.

    Maybe it's time for a change !.

Maybe the term steep has been steeping too long !

To properly qualify this, my quest began (and ended) ONLY with finding a healthier and equally satisfying alternative to analogs. I wasn't looking for an additional hobby; and, if I want a piece of cake, pie, candy bar or fruit I'll consume the real thing. Neither was I looking to blow huge clouds and draw attention to myself. Fortunately, initial objectives immediately satisfied.

Unfortunately, in search of perfection I was assailed by a 99% barrage of information tangential to my needs and purposes. After three years of futility and buckets of cash spent, sanity returned. Another year, I found my perfect delivery method and managed to adequately DIY-replicate my preferred juice.

Had I not been distracted by the onslaught of technology, associated minutiae and TERMINOLOGY encompassing vaping, I could have saved buckets of cash and time achieving my core goals. Different strokes for different folks, and no derisive finger pointed at anyone. Just, transitioning from analogs doesn't have to be as complicated and expensive as it usually is, if vaping is pursued with an initial clear set of goals that are adhered to.
