I went bow fishing with a friend and I wore my favorite bow tie too, as I stood on the bow with my bow I sighted a bowfish, I took aim while I stood on the bow with my trusty bow and let the bowfish have it... but as fate would have it the bow of the boat swung around into a tree and a bough snagged my bow tie, throwing my aim off and I just about tossing me off the bow thus missing the shot on the bowfish... it was a sight to see, me standing on the bow holding my bow while wearing a bow tie cussing the bow fish with leaves from the bough stuck in my bow... then I took a deep bow to finish off the day.... ;)

When you say that a person is smelling ripe it's not a good thing so if you were saying that your Vape juice is ripe or ripened I would think that it's gone off and is in some sort of bog like state. I mean terminology with Vape related stuff is all over the place isn't it so I'm definitely not saying you can't use whatever terminology you wish. But over here I'm going to be thinking about a particularly smelly person anytime you mentioned your ripe eJuice :) a dumpster that has been sitting for too long in the sun is also considered to be ripe lol. A ripe Old stew of stinky rotten stuff

Yes but does not fruit ripen and do not glowing fields of grain also ripen, nay are not the young ripe for love or adventure ... if I remember aright do not Churches even celebrate the ripe harvest when the grain has been garnered in an all and all?

There is but one answer to all of your questions. The only answer is the philosophers, "Yes".

Never have I been forced to think about vape words so "hard.." I'm not sure I enjoy it honestly.

Ripe makes no sense. I'm sorry. Also, for some reason it makes me think about ripening French cheeses, like Camembert, which smells like feet, that process of allowing them to a) age and b) becomes soft and gooey as you leave them out to eat (at our house) as a pre-meal Thanksgiving feast.

While it is in fact delicious, it also makes me think about watching French cheese sort of slither into mush on the plate, and nothing is really all that much fouler than applying all THAT to e-lliquids.

Steeping is fine. There's nothing wrong with it. It's inoffensive, just as one steeps tea to the desired maturity or whatever. I like a nice, well-steeped tea and I could imagine drinking some while vaping, without wanting to hurl.

Age is utilitarian. It also, if you are ageist (IDK the older I get the more I am, like I think old age SUUUCKS sometimes. Other times, it's technically correct, you are aging your eliquid or at least letting it get old, via the concept known as time.

I prefer the term mature, because then I can call some of my shake and vapes 'adolescent" should I choose to.

But really in the grand scheme of things CALL IT WHATEVER YOU MUST. You want to ripen it, YAY, just please don't compare it to cheese. Or the overripe mushy crab-apples your mom made you rake up as a kid. Etc.

You want to call it old? Okay, just don't bring that up in the same sentence as how the elderly have to use nose and ear hair trimmers, because.... sadly that happens for some folks.

IDK. Use good taste and make it understandable is what I'm saying. Perhaps the opposite to THIS post, but I was TRYING to set a bad example about how ANY term can "work" or "not work" depending on taste and associations and inferences.

Just be matter of fact about like, what you use. You don't even have to be consistent. .Just... You know.
