Yes me too. With the VT flavors from Chefs, I find the labels can be hard to read.

Just taking off the caps was hell! I ended up having to cut the locking rings off a few flavors and drew blood in the process. Plus all my flavors are new so a bunch of them were tightly encased in plastic. (Tomorrow's project may be to go through everything I haven't used yet and remove all protective wrappings.)
I also had to learn the quirks of my scale. It is slow to arrive at the final weight, so before I figured that out I overshot a few times. Just a hundredth (or two or three) of a percentage here and there. No big deal. I hope.
It's going to be interesting cobbling together mixes from all my single-flavor tests. Some weird, one-of-a-kind witches' brews are in the offing.
That's a good idea. I have mini dikes (cutters).I use small scissors to snip the security legs when I cannot break them by twisting the cap.
I run into overshooting more so when mixing 10mls. I try not to add flavor to the desired weight. Since I shake my flavor bottle just before adding it, I find during the time it takes me to shake the bottle, the scale has settled into its final weight and most of the time on target. If you have not run into this yet, just be careful about shaking bottles close to the scale as the motion may cause the scale to fluctuate.

You're welcome. I think of it as a necessary evil...LOL.I was inspired by @FranC snd her sft’s so when I mixed up a few recipes yesterday I also about a dozen sft’s.
I usually test them on day 1 then wait a week test again etc....
Thanks Fran!!! I don’t know how I would know what to adjust a recipe if I didn’t know what the flavors taste like.
Good to know.If I have to snip any of the legs, I never have an issue opening the bottle after that. I cannot say the same about the chubby.
A year or so ago BCF either run out of bottles or was testing the 10ml unicorn and 30ml chubby bottles. I had ordered 30mls of a flavor that came in the chubby bottle and every time I went to open it I struggled. i had one 10ml bottle of the skinny version that would never stand up and always fell over. I finally ordered a new 30ml bottle that came in the old style bottle as apparently BCF heard from their customers about how unhappy they were. I had ~1/2 bottle left in the chubby and threw it out as I was so frustrated with opening it. Intentionally I try to stay away from flavor vendors that use these bottles as a result — once was enough for me.
These seem comparable. Sixty-seven cents more but six bottles instead of five. I'm getting 'em.These are made of a super quality, thicker-walled, LDPE plastic. Feels even thicker than the HDPE plastic 16oz. flavoring bottle, to me. But they're easier to squeeze, and the twist top cap is wonderful. They come in 30mL, 60mL, 120mL, and 240mL size. I have several of the 240mL size, and I don't think I'd want anything larger myself...let alone 2 times heavier when full. By the way, that DIY that you see on the 240mL bottle in the graphic is just the watermark on the pic, not on the bottle. If you use the on-going discount code (now 12% instead of 11% Kimber told me this morning)...they'd be $.66 each.

Maybe, to save on S/H though...you could find the same or similar ones on Amazon, in case you have Prime.
I meant that nicotine is supposed to store better in VG, not that straight VG lasts longer than straight PG.I've never had a problem storing Pg either and I usually but 2 gallons at a time. Lasts long time.
I've always refigerated my vg in empty gatoraid bottles. I understand it keeps as well in a cool place. Nic is in the freezer except the bottle in use.I meant that nicotine is supposed to store better in VG, not that straight VG lasts longer than straight PG.
It's so cool where I live, I mostly don't need to worry about refrigerating certain things.I've always refigerated my vg in empty gatoraid bottles. I understand it keeps as well in a cool place. Nic is in the freezer except the bottle in use.
Think of it like this. If you are making a strawberry and use cap sweet sb and tfa sb ripe you can add a touch (.5-1%) of tfa dragonfruit and it seems to meld the to together into one really nice SB.
