I need to look however I think I threw away my bottle of WS-23 because of the taste which I was not expecting. If I did, I will buy another one next time I order from ECX. I cannot even find the recipe I used it in so no idea how much I used. To get the cold sensation without taste, what is a safe percent to start with?
    I never go over 1%.

You can get it pretty much anywhere, except Nic River, apparently. It is colder than Koolada but that is because Koolada is mixed as a 10% solution and WS-23 is usually mixed as a 30% solution. That doesn't make it 3 times colder since WS-3 is actually more cooling than WS-23. I would say it is approximately twice as cooling. In recipes where I used 1% Koolada, I use .5% WS-23. Sometimes I go up to .75% depending on how icy the juice should be. Start with .5% and add more if it isn't as cold as you would like. JHMO

"It's a case of balancing the flavour of the lemon with the creams and by "creams" I include Custards as a cream. I did originally try FA Custard (original with the slight lemony backnote) and it was ok but it felt with using that here that the vape felt a little thin. That's why I went the FA Premium route. Cap V1 custard could work in a similar profile to this but IMO would need Cap New York Cheesecake to fill out the custard better but would also need around 3-4 weeks to become really decent. Devon cream could be interesting, especially the vape train version for that silky like texture, but I haven't played with that in a custard as such. FW or TFA Bavarian Cream while I love both I tend to find in earlier experiments find that it kinda gets lost in custards and positions far better IMO in bakery/fruit profiles. Now the FLV Vanilla Pudding will play nicely in most situations and as a custard. It could work here nicely. Fresh03 does a "Quick Custard" which is a great quick steeping custard that is 4% Liquid Barn Vanilla Ice Cream and 0.75% FLV Vanilla Pudding, so if you have the LB VIC you could try that as well. The VT Pudding with those bready type of notes as delectable as that flavor is I would suspect that it might not fit in a profile like this. Maybe a little Butterscotch/Caramel combo may also be worth exploring here as well to add a little finesse to the custard. I hope that helps a bit. Make/Create a remix and make it your own I say!"

I went ahead and ordered the Butterscotch Ripple - you never know. LOL I am going to mix it up subbing FLV Vanilla Pudding and VTA Devon Cream - half and half for the Butterscotch Ripple while I wait.

Custards are a new experience for me to vape. I had them and used them when I mixed for my son's friends. They weren't for me, at that point in time. I have discovered that I like some custard in some vapes. :) I mentioned that I tried both Nick's LMP-the Best and Lemondowski and didn't love them, for me. I kept them in tanks on mods and have been vaping both along. I am actually enjoying Lemondowski enough to mix up more. I am also enjoying the LMP, surprisingly enough. So, I guess I will try more of those kinds of vapes. Variety is the spice of life. It has been almost 6 years since I started vaping and tastes really do change.
Thank you! Let us know how you like it with your subs.

So given my bizarre bitter/peppery taste toward creams and custards, thought I’d step outside my desert comfort zone and pick up some fruit flavours. Grab TFA Juicy Peach and Black Cherry. Been enjoying the Juicy Peach with a drop of FA Polar Ice. I know menthol/cool is not for everyone, myself included, but this seems to be working well for me. The Punk approves!

And with the Black Cherry I made nice Cherry Bourbon Tobacco that I am still tweaking a bit. Will share once I feel it is dialed in. But thought given I enjoyed the Peach with the Polar Ice, I’d give the Cherry and Polar Ice a try as well. I can now officially say I have nailed my first clone. So if anyone is looking for a Nyquil flavoured ejuice, sans the medical ingredients of course, hit me up for the recipe!

I have JF Bavarian Cream but have never opened the bottle. Do you think that could be used in The Zing instead of Butterscotch Ripple? I have no idea what the texture is on either so don't know exactly what might replace that Butterscotch Ripple and do it well. I also thought about regular FA Custard since it has a lemon undertone. It is hard to figure out the subs when I don't have any idea what Butterscotch Ripple brings to the mix besides butterscotch, which I don't want in a lemon vape. :) I do like her idea (or someone's idea since she said it came from a Noted episode) of a Lemon Stone of FE Lemon, VTA Sour Lemon, and FA Lemon Zest.

I was going to sub a caramel for the butterscotch. I’m not crazy about butterscotch so I really don’t want to buy one.

It's been a while since I've had to wait for vape mail. The wait is killer! But BCF had my order ready and shipped within 3 hours which is amazing. Heartland vapes wasn't very far behind, and I had read on their website orders take 2-3 days to process and get shipped. So far, so good with these recommended companies.
Does BCF ever send you free samples? I liked the free mystery bottle of e juice I would get on MBV.. well, most of the time. Sometimes it was flavors I liked the least, I took one smell and said... Nope, not happening.

I received a free sample of an orchid something that I’ll never use I’m sure. I’m not into florals.

just a little mixing today... tried my pb chocolate cup again but forgot to use less cream in it...originally it was to dry, then it wasn't dry but flavor lacking....need to find a happy medium...
also decided to try to make a caramel apple pie cheesecake, we'll see how that turns out...
I wanted to do a banana nut bread but sadly i only have about 2 drops of banana left
thinking to make one more tonight, just not sure what yet

maybe it's because I've been up since 3:30 am and worked a hard day on the water, or maybe I'm just a dummy.. but the diyjuicecalculator has got me baffled. Good thing the recipe I want to start with has a calculator right on the web page. Maybe that particular calc is too advanced for a noob like me at this point.
Juice Calculator has its own thread here. Don't hesitate to use it for any questions you may have. Those of us that use it will do out best to help you out. :D

In the mean time; take a look at the Help File hotRod included:

It will open in its own window, so it is easy to bounce back and forth, between calculator and Help. The Getting Started section will show you most of the basics.:

I don't like butterscotch either and I can't taste caremel in a vaoe at all. Seeing as they are both too sweet it doesn't matter much.......LOL

I am a commercial fisherman, I fish with trap nets on Lake Huron and we are licensed for whitefish. Not too many people use trap nets, it's a dying art.

    Somewhere between here and there
I got out my new mix of the Dripping recipe this morning and rebuilt my ammit mtl rta. Last time I used it I was getting horrible flooding on the deck. I hope it doesn’t happen again. I think I need to be more careful to not have the wick touch the back airflow behind the coil. Since I got the right strawberry, I’ll see if I like it better.
