@ChelsB - That rack is made of iron. They've got mounting holes on each section of it, so you can attach it to the studs in a wall. That's assuming the studs are spaced a corresponding distance apart in your walls to allow attaching both sides of each section to a stud. Otherwise, you'll need to install a header board first, that's attached to several of the studs, and then attach the 3 sections to it.

I didn’t mix anything tonight. I ended up cleaning the carpets. Friday is usually my night to crash after a week of work. I’m going to look through my screenshots and pick a couple to mix tomorrow. My chefs order should be here any day and I still haven’t put away my last two orders.

@ChelsB - That rack is made of iron. So it's a good thing they spaced the mounting holes the right distance apart on each section of it, so you can attach it to the studs in the wall. That's assuming the studs are spaced 2' on center in your walls, like they're supposed to be.

I’m not sure about there but here studs are 16” on center.

Yeah, I went back and edited out the 2' on center part of my post, as that's for roof trusses...not interior wall studs. Had a brain fart! :D

ETA: If they're 16" on center, the mounting holes placement on all 3 sections won't allow both sides of each section to attach to the studs. That could be problematic, especially when they're full of bottles. Went back and edited the other post more, too.

Unless you can close the shades when you’re not in the room.

All of my flavors are in amber or cobalt glass, do you think I still need to worry about the sun? My blinds are the kind that still let in light so if you think that UV exposure is still an issue, let me know

Okay DIYers, I have a question for you. I just transferred some menthol crystals I dissolved in PG a year ago and took a whiff. There was no minty smell whatsoever. Granted, I never smelled it when I first mixed it, but I expected a strong smell. Do you think it has gone bad?

    well it's interesting....
so this morning I attempted a cheesecake (of course I didn't let it steep) but it's more of a thick cream than cheesecake
so thought let's add some mints to it.... now it's more of a fresh creamy mint
not something I will vape often but it's a nice refresher

[edit] played with it a bit more... added some lime, rum, cucumber and ws-23 and now it's a mojito of sorts, since I donno what a mojito tastes like lol helped calm down the mint and made it a more enjoyable vape :)

Thanks, I'm definitely going to try this out :p
You can also just use a soft toothbrush to clean your tongue. Keep the tap open, brush once, rinse the brush, brush again, rinse the brush, until your tongue is clean. Don't brush too strong or it will make your tongue bleed (which is no biggie). I do this every time I brush my teeth, it also prevents bad breath.

I also brush my tongue. But maybe not enough or I need the scraper, which I’m going to try. I sure hope that helps. I miss liking lots of different juices and I have at least 40 60ml of 0 mg (I add my own nic) bottles of store bought juice I need to vape (my shinyitis extends to ejuice too). This is on top of over 20 mixed recipes that need to be tasted! This is SO frustrating, I hope the scraper works! Everything tastes to blah except for 2 favorites, which I’m surprised I’m not sick of!

    @ChelsB,
Amber/cobalt will help diminish UV effects, but will not negate influences of heat (heat "cooks" off flavor). Also wall mounted racks are fine... if they help with accessibility (they are over/in front of, your mixing station), otherwise I fail to see the benefit (though I readily admit wall storage frees up desk top space).

Regarding menthol; I find little aroma with pure menthol. Rather, aroma usually(?) comes from a secondary component (e.g. wintergreen, peppermint, etc.). Think about whiffing a Kool, or Salem... they had a distinct "cold" taste... but little identifiable aroma. Your dilution is probably fine.

Never bought the crystals but I still have a 7 year old bottle of menthol that smells very strong

If you want cheesecake you need to mix some base and let it steep at least a month

It should be fine as long as the room is cool enough. Depends on how much light, as the recommended storage is dark & cool.

I finally mixed a sample of the 5 star custard and plan on mixing strubarb custard to try. I’m going to take a hard look at the 60ml bottles I so foolishly mixed and decide if I need to dump most of them. Most have been sitting unused for several months.
