Yes, I know but it's a pretty big thing to me because it's a step toward moving out of my home into one room at my daughters'. I am tough and I'm stubborn as h-ll and that will carry me through I'm sure. I've been awful touchy lately but I recover quickly. Get through the next few months and I have it made. (Hoping)
I am moving for 2 reasons. It's not just a money issue. I don't want to spend another winter here alone, not even if I had enough money. I don't even know the new neighbors around me anymore. I don't drive. I live in the sticks.1 1/2 mile on dirt roads to get to the main highway. I have to rely on someone else to shovel roofs if we get too much snow, also to plow the yard, etc, etc.
Thank you for all your tipsOne tip I'll offer, that helped me; was to practice weighing with plain old tap water first... before I made any DIY attempts. This helped me learn how to start/stop pouring... without overshooting my target weight.
Water has the added advantage, of being less viscous than PG or VG; so it teaches added control. Once you can pour water confidently, you will find pouring PG and VG to be a piece of cake!
If you are using different sized bottles, and/or dropper tops, twist tops, yorker caps; be sure to experiment with all of them. One thing I did not think about taking into account was the volume of fluid behind the cap. Pouring from a larger, near full, condiment bottle is a lot different, than pouring from a 10-30mL dropper bottle.![]()
Remember to use the squeeze pressure to help control the flow (along with tilt angle). Increasing pressure to increase flow is a no-brainer for most of us; but it took me a good 5 minutes to realize I could slow, even stop the flow, buy relaxing pressure. I know... I am not always the sharpest tool in the shed.![]()

Thanks! Now just to make time to play & mixI'm betting you will get used to it pretty quickly as I did. I still use a syringe for tiny amounts (Mostly for sfts).
I'm sorry to be sharing this boat with you but I'm sure we can keep it from sinking no matter how stressful.Fran, I didn't know this was happening. I can totally relate as I am in a similar boat. I actually bought a little place in another state to be close to my daughter but I don't want to move there so I am trying to sell it. I know it would probably be best to move in with daughter's fam and that was the original plan but I just don't want to leave here yet. I don't know what I will end up doing but it is stressful. I hope the move goes smoothly for you. Please keep us informed or pm me if you ever want to chat.
OMG that just so cool it got a big smile.FranC I hope you find relief once the move is finished.
Will one of my hatchlings that has two hearts on his neck put a little smile on your face?

Good idea. Did you use Paypal?
If you get no answer I would put my complaint in to Paypal.Yes, I used paypal. I should be covered. It's just a hassle.
I ended up with 2 peanut butter recipes. My Peanut Butter Cereal and @NolaMel Peanut Butter Granola Bar.What did you end up mixing? I am trying to find a couple for today.

Since I rarely use additives I brought most to my daughters and put them in the big case I bought. Sure enough, I found (and butchered) two recipes that call for Zeppola. I think I'll bring the Zeppola back home and mix those next week.
I filed for a return through Ebay after the person decided to argue with me about how the cartridges were listed. I asked for a 50% refund and for some reason, he refunded the total amount. The only thing is that I installed the one black cartridge that was new so I'm not sure if I should take it back out of my printer and send it or what. I didn't want to use it but he made me wait so long that I was out of black ink.
