Anyone a sub ohm person here? I got my dripbox that I have wanted for awhile. It has a .2 coil in it and not only does the atty get super hot, juice spits on my tongue and actually burned it. How do people do sub ohm coils without getting burned?

From what I read a minute ago, the drip box has a fixed output of 60 watts. That’s way too high for me. It said it included an rba. I’d try that with my own coil.

You know now that I have some strawberry flavors I might revisit the berry jammy. I was trying to tackle the flavor with forest fruit FA previously. I'll try mixing it alone minus the shortbread cookie this time too. Perhaps that will be easier tackling the two flavor profiles individually.


I've been working on a good banana peanut butter recipe since I've started DIYing. Peanut butter was harder than I thought. Once I got that down I battled this pesky dry mouth causing liquid that I just couldn't vape. Mouthfeel was terrible. I kept working at it and I think I did a good one.

Banana Cream TPA 3.5
Butterscotch FLV 1
Caramel (Caramelo) FLV 1
Cotton Candy TPA .50
Peanut butter FLV 1
Peanut Butter TPA 1
Sweetener TPA .50
Vanilla Custard CAP 3

Good at 3 weeks, better as it ages more.

I finally put this in a tank tonight, this is good. I did alter it a bit though, I took out the TFA Cotton Candy and the TFA Sweetener, and used 0.50 % of Cap Super Sweet. I am trying to use the super sweet in all my recipes lately.

When I mixed this I made a 30 ML bottle of it, I am glad that I did, the bottle is almost gone. I just made another 30 ML of it, and this weekend I am going to make 120 ML of it as well. This will be a new ADV for me.

Just get out one more of those 30 you have stashed and put the crown on it. I have 8-9 of the original crown tanks and rbas in storage.

As much as I do not want another PV going I may have to do that.The coil in my Zlide is still like new.

It reminds me of the 5 pawns Grand master I used to vape, I never liked any of the clones I tried, and while it is different, it is really really good.

I’m not familiar with the drip box. However, I do run .2-.3 ohm coils in several tanks. The flat braided coils run good at 23-24 watts for me. Very seldom do I run much over 25 watts unless I’m doing a review. The Zeus sub ohm tank required higher watts when I reviewed it. What atty is on the mod? Are they drop in coils or is it rebuildable?

I know I can build higher but I can't figure out why it is so hot and spitting juice. Didn't do it on any of the reviews I watched. I really like it but can't have it spitting like that.

Shortly after I first started Vaping, I discovered them. I was going threw 5 bottles of grand master per month, and at $27.00 a bottle, it was what prompted me to start DIY.

Spitting and popping is often due to not enough wick, but at 60 watts and 0.2 Ω, I think it's just a boiling pot!

I have some perfectly working 30w iSticks that are quite old. I no longer worry about internal batteries. Especially at the sale prices that are coming up.........I love my minis.

I'm still using a bunch of older internal battery mods, and I agree with what you said above. Have several Innokin MVP2 & 20W, CoV Mini Volt, Eleaf iStick Basics, Eleaf 10W, 20W, 30W, & 50W mods, Kanger Evod Mega kits, and Innokin CoolFire 4 mods still working fine! Have more of each in my stash that are, too. Even the Kanger TopEvods, Subvods, and really older eGo-T 1,100mAh batteries still take and hold a charge just fine. Have had only 3 internal battery mods and 4 eGo-T batteries...that I've either accidently killed, or I've worn them out in the last 5 years!

Based on the above, I feel certain that multiples of my much newer internal battery mods & kits (Yosta Livepor 60W, Innokin Mini 40W w/Zenith, JoyeTech eGo One, and Aegis Mini) will last at least as long as the older ones. They'll average out to cost approx. $5 or less/year of use, which is dirt cheap, IMO.
