Maybe not to you but I vape for the flavors
I do love my flavors, but I can’t get fired either. :) I’m lucky that I have my own office and I can vape at all. I can retire in under a year... I can’t wait. Not that I will retire, but at least I will have my time in. Dessert flavors are my fav...at home.

This will be a keeper for me.

Cool Bubbles
TFA Menthol .5%
FW Pink Champagne 2%
TFA Sweet Raspberry 2%
TFA Ripe Strawberry 3%
INW Rhubarb 1%
WS-23 .75%

Throw some lemon in there and you would have a great Fizzy Pink Lemonade. Yes, I know you aren't much for lemon but that was my first thought when I read the recipe.

Your Recipes for Dummies thread is an absolutely amazing resource for new mixers, and old mixers too. Would you be happy if I went through it, pulled out the recipes (and their authors) and combined it into an clickable index?

That would an incredible help even for this almost 2 year mixer!!

    Somewhere between here and there
I stealth vape at work too. I use mostly menthol tobacco there. I tried using different ones but had a few comments about smelling cotton candy. I wasn’t told that I can’t vape but doubt my boss would like it. I work alone most of the day but people are in and out of the shop throughout the day.

When I 1st started vaping I told my roommate who finally got me to vape that I doubted I would ever be interested in vaping flavors especially fruits like she did. I started off vaping naked 100 Euro Gold Tobacco which at the time I thought was just fine especially after just coming off the disgusting taste of cigarettes.

Well within 4-6 weeks I had stopped MTLing and started using a sub ohm and yes flavors. Some really great flavors that kept me vaping.

Several months ago I came across o new bottle of the Euro I had stashed away and decided to vape it and see how horrible or not it would be to only have tobacco flavors.

Man it was disgusting lol! How I vaped that for an entire month I have no idea. I’m guessing my taste buds were on life support. I can only believe at some point I probably would’ve just started smoking again. There’s absolutely no way I could go back to at least that tobacco flavor.

I have vaped unflavored occasionally especially when I 1st started DIYing and was sft in between taste testing to “cleanse” my palette. It’s just not for me. I like flavors. And at the beginning I liked A LOT of flavors like about 20% or more of flavors lol!!

Almost 2 years into it I still enjoy my flavors but I premix my base with the assumption that my flavor percentages will be between 12 to 15%. That seems to be my “sweet” spot for awhile now.

This weekend I tried 2 recipes that had flavor totals at 6 and 9%. Nope. No good. Just so subtle as to be almost untastable to me. I ended up bumping the totals up to 12% which I was at least able to taste. So I’m still sticking to around that 15% total recipe dependent of course.

On the flip side I tried some store bought juice my roommate buys and it was overwhelming in flavor. I figure it must be at least 25% in total flavoring?? I suggested diluting it to make it last longer and she looked at me like a had 3 heads lol!!!

That’s one of the best aspects of DIYing. I can make it as in my face or as subtle as I want that works for me.

And tbh I felt that my DIY steeped custard had BETTER flavor quality than a well known and popular premade juice.

How happy did that make me feel??? Pretty darn happy with my decision to make my own juices!!

So - any need to stock up on oh or vg? Or are we safe on that front?

Have a great night everyone :)

I think it’s a great idea to gather all the recipes together. I wish I knew how to do that, I would gather the recipes in this thread. There’s a lot of great ones in here.

I was on a huge lemon/lemonade kick for quite some time. I'm taking a break from it right now but am sure I"ll go back.
I have to be careful cause it seems once I get tired of something I ‘m not able to vape it again.I lost my backy blends ,my coffees and some individual flavors.Sucks but that’s the way it is .
