Anyone know why my zbiip is leaking? It has a new coil.
YOu have to turn it for it to seat properly. The z biip will also beep once if coil is installed correctly. If you do not hear the beep go back and reseat the coil.

:)

ps,,,,dont ask me how i know... lol

darn... when jug filling for freezer storage, I can turn up a bottle and see one little bitty air bubble, "a seed of a pea"
I dont think that little bitty air bubble is cause for concern. Once the bottle is upright that air bubble will return to the top with the space you left at the top of the bottle.

I thought mine was correct also until it leaked like yours. After playing with it a while I realized the metal on both side has to come together so no additional air can come through. And when I turned the coil before replacing the air flow piece it loudly clicked in. After that I had no more leaking and I kept the same coil, and am still using it. Sorry you are having trouble.

So when filling bottles with Nic to freeze, do I leave a half inch headroom from very top of bottle?
I'm sure someone has already answered this, but I need to post something to be sure I get notified about new posts, so I will, too: You don't have to leave a half-inch. The base won't expand in the freezer (in fact, I believe it contracts slightly), and you want there to be as little air in the bottle as possible, to limit oxidation. The only reason to leave extra room is if you bottle it up when your house is cold, because if you pull it out to use on a hot day, it might overflow as it warms up if you filled to the brim.

They're not that pricey, Bronze and if you're not a kluzt they'll last forever
Well, about $1.50 per 8oz bottle so $6 a liter or $24/gallonish. So no, in the whole scheme of things it's not pricey at all. Just seems a lot for a bottle.

Here's a pump I bought awhile back for pumping tranny fluid in a tranny. Used it for pumping brake and power steering fluid from their reservoirs as well. Handy little sucker. Would probably work nice decanting nic solution from a large bottle/jug to a smaller bottle too so as not to spill the stuff all over the place. When you're done with it you can use it for all kind of crazy jobs. Especially automotive.

I really need to order nic, heartland seems to be one of the better priced ones, want to get a good deal, but not a good deal if it is crap, any opinions on their nic?
All my nic came from ECX and MFS. Very first nic came from RTS. I’ve heard good things about Heartland but never bought any.

I could have used that with my last two liters from heartland. I like their nic but don’t care for the jugs it comes in.
