OH I should also say I gave them a nice bath in warm water. Thins out the vg so transferring them with a syringe is so much easier, and hopefully steeps them some.

My gremlin order got bumped to Monday. I realized when I was cleaning out my emails, I had a Chef’s order that shipped 12/2. Its never taken this long. Of course, cheaped out and didn’t get tracking.
I mixed an impromptu eggnog today.... FLV & FW eggnog, vta brandy and a little madagascar vanilla (vanilla bourbon is in the awol gremlin order). As a snv test, I get a hint of nutmeg and maybe clove????, and the rest is light. I’ll let it settle out, maybe drop the % of the FW next go. I think that’s where the spice is coming from. Not getting “brandy” out of it either

Know for sure where the clove is coming from? I hate cloves. What % are you using on the brandy. Switch to bourbon?

I refer to it all.the.time. I just need to pick one. When I pick a recipe I think I might like, I never have all the flavors. And I'm overwhelmed with life lately so I'm hoping during my vacation I can find some recipes, make a list of flavors I need, and order.

I’m on the other extreme. I have more mixed than I’ll probably use before it’s bad. I’m the worst about mixing sft and then never going back and trying them. I got on a kick where I’d mix 60ml of several recipes knowing full and well that I’m constantly changing flavors. I had to throw out some that went bad. Now I just mix 10ml to start and if it’s something I really love then I’ll do a 30ml bottle of it.

That’s a much better way to mix,hitt. I do the same

I have the gremlin sale eggnog in my cart. It interests me.

I got an eggnog flavor and it is TRUE to life (I got it from DIYOS) so I'm not sure it is the same.

But, it tasted exactly like eggnog an I enjoyed it heartily for a few months. Then I decided (like with real eggnog) that too much of a good thing is not good.

So, I'm not saying DON'T get it or anything but get a small quantity and mix it sparingly. I made way too much.

I do need to get some 10 ml bottles for testing some of the more exotic flavors I bought. I will not make 200 ml of unknown flavors. I can vape most anything though...except floral. Bleck.

I’m buying the eggnog since it’s on the sale at gremlin for next to nothing for a 30 ml. I’m a sucker for those cheap 30 mls. I can’t help myself.

I guess you can tell I like to mix with strawberry. More recently trying to use some other fruits in order to not get tired of strawberry. I tried this one to give a couple of other fruits the starring role. I like it. You might give it a try?

Glad you are feeling better @FranC. I don't feel so hot this morning. It might be the approaching cleaning. I hope so. I did not sleep so great either. I think I got all tangled in the blankets somehow and like, I turned off the heat (it was too hot) and forgot to turn it back on. It was 59 degrees in here this morning. I feel considerably better than my first cup of coffee but not by THAT much.

I'm still not mixing for a while.... SO many flavors.

Floral notes should be extracted, turned into like, skeet flowers, and shot. I do not understand why they exist. I guess not everyone has the reaction to florals that I do, which is rather similar than the time I decided my mom's perfume smelled so good, I needed to taste it. It was disappointing. LOL

I wasn't putting anything down. I've liked the Tide since I was a kid (Bear Bryant days). That said, it is time for others to have a shot at the big dance.

I just got my chefs order, took 3 weeks this time. I was just about ready to reorder those three little bottles when it appeared. I’m too cheap to pay extra for tracking on such a small order.
