Yep Piggly Wiggly (or The Pig as we call it) is alive and well. I’ve never heard of the 10% thing though. This is family owned and has been around for a long long time. I was proud yesterday...it was well stocked for most things. They even had cheap toilet paper. I feel like my two week isolation was ruined with me having to get out in public. I do not want to catch this virus.

We didn't have it in FL but here they add 10% to your total bill. Simple to figure out but feels like a scam so I rarely shop there.

I kind of got caught up, (on the thread) but not really, LOL. No yoga this am because a) one of my pecs hurts. O, I hate that makes it hard to breathe .Maybe tonight since I have Fridays off and will be doing notes.

I am the IBH person with the most encounters but holy jebus have some initiative. I have 20 encounters from yesterday but it's not my fault the providers like me. Hell, I have one in SV who is asking Me to do a late one, because hers, my supervisor, won't do it. I am... accommodating.

Also thoroughly fed up I cannot tell you the amount of chaos involved IT IS AWFUL. OMG.

No to mention other docs calling and asking including head doc. Sigh.

All will be well but I don't know how I am gonna keep this up. Sheesh. I did tell my head boss I don't need help (I don't) another person in there with me would result in total chaos.

Anyway just sort of checking in. The husband went everywhere for chicken livers no dice. Sigh. It's like having a magical thing you can no longer have,. Sucks,

Anyway I hope you lot are all well and all mixing, I am gonna tomorrow but NOTHING exciting.

Aww... thanks. IF ONLY the dang medical director would STOP sending out reports. You know how it is, you don't WANT to be last, above all else, but you also don't want to be FIRST. Everyone is gunning for you and well... But like, I do what I am told to and I make sure my providers USE me. The support staff is all HAPPY but like, they know if I am laid off more, they will be too.

As I told my other mom, "Well thank you for consistently teaching/ modeling how to freaking overfunction in a crisis!" That chilled out old lady just LAUGHED.

LOL the emails need to freaking STOP I don't think my supervisor was expecting me to be the star provider, and I don't think she likes it all that much.
    Eh oh well.

That'll go over like a fart in church.
Most people don't even realize they are being charged the fee. I have told several and they act like they don't believe me. Oh well...

    Happy Thursday, mixers.

Rain continues, cats are upset with me because it's raining outside both front and back doors. :)

So I took Opinionated's posted recipe from ELR for that DIY Milk Chocolate and customized it using what I had. Had to do a fair amount of substituting but tried to stay within the spirit of the recipe and I wasn't going to spend $24 for a bottle of Dark Chocolate from Medicine Man (or whatever the name of that company is). That said, it turned out better than I thought. The creams really do brighten it up. However, it's still not what I'm looking for. But I mixed a second iteration using Double Chocolate Dark in place of Double Chocolate Clear. I think I know why they use the dark chocolate. Those creams transform it to more of a milk chocolate...at least that's what I surmise after tasting Iteration #1. So I'll try that in two weeks.

So, good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

    Good morning.

I'm just doing turtle stuff today. I set up a 600 gallon stock tank yesterday which passed the leak test. Today I will be shifting around turtles into new setups. I was contacted by a conservation group last week to help with a wild caught terrapin that was illegally harvested and kept in dire conditions. I got her the day before yesterday and it was worse than I anticipated. The shell rot was so bad, which I had to debride of massive amounts of fungus in order to start the healing process. She responding rather well to the painful procedure, only biting me once. I gave her antibiotic injections and I am confident that she will make it. Once I get it all cleared up I'll ship her back to the group in New Jersey for release back into the wild. The guy that had her was busted 6 years ago for doing this crap, it was estimated that in a 10 year span he alone devastated the wild population in New Jersey. He collects females as they are looking for nesting spots and takes them to his residence, injects them with oxytocin to induce labor, and then collects the eggs. Reports at the time noted that he grossed about 600k from his operation. He received a hefty fine and 3 years in prison so to see him back at it had many of us fuming.

Better news, I am getting deliveries today of a new rda, mod, and much needed batteries.

I hope everyone is safe and well.

If you have any vanilla flavors try adding just a touch of it to your chocolates. Adds a little depth to them.

I've done that countless times Skeeb. I get mixed results but still have it in many of my experiments. It can add some depth in small amounts to be sure. Too much and it washes out the flavor profile.
