I really need a haircut also. I normally go every 3-4 weeks since my hair grows fast. I asked my wife what she thought about cutting my hair and I didn’t really get a response. If it gets too bad I might take the clippers and do a cut like I had in the army.

My kid is into animals, rescue dogs especiall---

I am going to not even THINK about how the end of that sentence GOES OMG I horrify even MYSELF.

I bet you'd make a mighty clever junkyard dog but I am not STICKING AROUND FOR PUPPIES, KWIM?

OMG I took my night meds because the husband who should NEVER share his news with me I prefer first thing in the morning when I am fired up, and like 3 pm so I have enough time to calm down.

The husband said the CDC just announced that ANY death could be ruled COVID 19 as desired without doing... . any...… testing.

Wha? We have perfectly good testing and perfectly good tests. I can't even bring myself to try to INVESTIGATE whether it's true yet because.... If it's on ANY news station it is already buried under so much like, rubble, well, I won't know if this post is gone for the puppies like statement or the COVID 19 one. Well, I will, maybe, depending.

He's right. From the National Vital Statistics System, date 3/24/20:
Will COVID-19 be the underlying cause?
The underlying cause depends upon what and where conditions are reported on the death certificate. However, the rules for coding and selection of the underlying cause of death are expected to result in COVID- 19 being the underlying cause more often than not.

So, the stats can be twisted whichever way, and we'll never know what the truth is about contagion/mortality.

OK, I'm gonna vent a little .. (move over, Anna...)
So I was maybe two weeks overdue for a haircut when all of the barbershops closed. Not good, not the way my hair grows.
I cannot wear collared shirts anymore because the back of my hair already at the base of my neck. Half of my ears are covered, and my bangs are starting to fall in front of my glasses. And I might just be getting started here.
Split ends, which I haven't dealt with since I was a teenager, are starting to make my head into a bird's nest. I asked my daughter what shampoo is good for split ends, she said "None". I asked if all the ones that claim to be for split ends are not for real. She said "Nope".
I changed shampoos anyways, trying Panteen Repair and Protect shampoos and conditioner. If not that, maybe try Dove Therapy whatever.
I know 60 year old man shouldn't complain too loudly about having an easily full head of hair. My boss doesn't, my younger brother doesn't. But I'm supposed to get a haircut every two months or so, wash, comb and forget.
And no, I don't wear hats. Not since I got out of the service.
Women are supposed to worry about this stuff, not me.

I know I'm 64 and not only have all my hair (and it is getting long) but no gray either. Hehe Gray in the beard some but not in the hair.

This kind of grinds my gears. Walmart hasn’t shipped either one of my orders and my father in law calls tonight and says he’s at Walmart and wants to know if we want him to buy us some TP. So they can put it on the shelves but can’t ship my order from two weeks ago?

    I think that's happening a lot.

I'm almost 60 and my hair is almost half grey... I'm fine with that (not going to fight it... no coloring, ect) I actually like it... blends well with my brown/blond hair) I just use electric clippers with 1 inch guard (much easier to shampoo and dry with the short hair) Everyone says I look younger with short hair (if I had my way, I would grow a "pony tail" again but too much work to shampoo, condition, brush out tangles and dry)

I was going to do my new SFTs today but had to help my son (again) actually that's good... tomorrow will be 5 days steep so will get a better idea of how they taste. One more week and my cheesecake will have steeped 1 month (yes, Fran... haven't touched it... doing it right this time) Good things come to those who wait :)

I am having a love affair with Hazelnut (a little bit seems to work with many things) Goes great with strawberry, bakeries, and also cheesecake. Not so much that it is a main flavor... just enough to balance other flavors.
    A favorite of mine too.

All this talk about hair and color. 58 here, full headful, and I refer to it as 50/50 dark brown and arctic blonde (some of ya say grey or silver) :D

Nuteral. That's what my old barber called it.

Can you get your daughter to cut your hair?

Daughter had an anurism (?) at age 34, has been mostly paralyzed since.

Wife just cut mine and trimmed the beard, did a pretty good job.

No way. Mamaw is great in the kitchen, but I am not asking for a haircut.

You need a nice pair of clippers. They makes cutting one's own hair a breeze.

Have them. Do my own beard.

I am too ugly to even try that.

Just keep growing hippie hair for now....
